Today, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) welcomed Coach and MAC Cosmetics to O’Hare International Airport with ribbon-cutting events.
The stores are located next to each other in Terminal 2 past security in the Main Hall.
“On behalf of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, we are delighted to have these two world-renowned brands offering their products to travelers at O’Hare,” said CDA Commissioner Ginger S. Evans. “We are constantly working to bring popular services and amenities to Chicago’s airports.”
Coach started as a family-run workshop in New York City in 1941 and pioneered the leather goods and accessories industry in America. It became the first American company to bring international relevance to an American leather goods brand. Coach’s product offerings include bags, small leather goods, footwear, outerwear, watches, weekend and travel accessories, scarves, sun wear, fragrance, jewelry and related accessories.
MAC Cosmetics celebrates diversity and individuality for all ages, races and sexes, and is a global leader in the expertise of makeup artistry. MAC’s products are created through a collaboration of leading talents in fashion, art and popular culture. MAC offers a complete line up of makeup, skincare, fragrance and tools and brushes.
These newest fashion stores join an impressive lineup of brand name retailers in O’Hare’s domestic terminals including Brooks Brothers, Montblanc, Erwin Pearl, Brighton, Johnston & Murphy, Oakley, Harley-Davidson, Spirit of the Red Horse, Brookstone, Vosges Haut-Chocolat and InMotion Entertainment.
