Ensemble Travel®Group’s 2018 conference theme, “FASTForward on the Shoulders of GIANTS,” took center stage in Nassau as Co-Presidents Lindsay Pearlman and Libbie Rice wove the message through a mix of light-hearted videos and “TIME” motifs during the opening general session to illustrate the success of the organization and its 50 years in the business of travel.“The theme not only allows us to go back in time but also to explore how those early days have provided a very strong foundation for our success both today and tomorrow,” said Pearlman during their annual state of the organization address at the 2018 Ensemble Travel Group International Conference here through Saturday at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

Speaking before an audience of approximately 900 members, suppliers, and guests, Pearlman and Rice’s speech focused on technology, intelligence, marketing, and evolution and the related progress made to-date as well as future initiatives.

According to the two executives, additional resources, both in terms of personnel and services, have helped drive recent successes, especially in the areas of technology and intelligence, or infometrics. And from a marketing perspective, members are benefiting from even greater “personalization” across all branding channels to connect with customers in a very personal way, including print, digital and social media platforms. The final speech pillar – evolution – explored how Ensemble is constantly evaluating its programs and relationships to create superior value at the customer level and outstanding returns for its shareholders, partners, and the Ensemble organization.

Pearlman wrapped up the speech by congratulating members on their stellar sales performance, with the last three years being the best on record for the organization. Added Rice, “Here’s even better news: 2018 sales are tracking ahead year over year. You’ve grown the business far beyond our expectations and the industry norm. Our financials have never looked healthier. Our human resources – our people – have never been stronger. And their sole purpose is to help you succeed. Just look at your own business. If you’re in this room, think about how far you’ve come in your professional journey. More than likely you didn’t do it in major leaps. You did it in small steps just like GIANTS and Ensemble.”
