Congress Plus Entices Diners with New Organic and Healthy Lunch Menus

With unsurpassed views across Victoria Harbour, Congress Plus at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) launches new healthy lunch options, including an array of a-la-carte choices, and Salad and Noodle Bar.


Managed by Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Ltd (HML), the 20,000 sq. ft. restaurant seating 300 persons features buffet extravaganza, offering gourmet lovers a premier dining experience at exceptional value.

Offering business executives the ideal light lunch selection, the daily soup and organic salad bar buffet showcase an appetising range of fresh, organically grown salad vegetables which are sourced from accredited organic suppliers worldwide, ranging from fresh corn, red beetroot, pepper mix, lettuce red chard and lettuce mache with choices of healthy dressings, ranging from popular Organic Olive Oil and Honey Balsamic Dressing and the sweetness of Organic Olive Oil and Sweet Orange Dressing to traditional salad favourite, Organic Olive Oil and Black Olive Dressing. 

Daily soup selections feature a choice of both Chinese and Western favourites, with daily Chinese soups selected by HML’s culinary team according to the Chinese Calendar 24 Solar Terms.  Current highlight is Boiled Pork Knuckle Soup with Lion’s Mane Mushroom and Preserved Date for the Cold Dew until 22 October. It is widely believed that following extreme weather patterns the consumption of herbal tonics will help to prevent illnesses andboost general wellbeing.

The Noodle Bar presents diners with an extensive selection of handcrafted noodles made with top quality ingredients ranging from Seaweed, Carrot or Spinach Ramen, Tomato Noodles and Chinese Handmade Noodles to Rose & tea flavor Noodles, a wide selection of meats, vegetables, and the culinary team’s special wholesome soup base, including Tomato and Fish Stock and Wild Mushroom Consomme.

To allow for flexibility and greater choice, the new a-la-carte lunch menu features tantalizing specialties from around the world, including Chinese, Western, Japanese, Thai, and Indian. The highlight of the a-la-carte menu is “Zero Food Waste”, an award-winning dish created by Congress Plus culinary team. It was the winner of the green creative cooking competition co-organised by the Greeners Action and NWS Holdings Limited.  The HMLculinary team members made creative use of food trimmings, such as fish skins, bread crusts, potato, pumpkin, and zucchini skins, broccoli stems, etc. to create appetizing specialities.


Other new lunch a-la-carte menu items include the Kaimei (local bred) Chicken Rice in Hainanese Style, Tandoori Salmon Fillet with rice and naan bread, Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi Combo and many more.

–       Daily Soups and Organic Salad Bar Buffet – HK$168 per head

–       Oriental Dumplings and Noodles Buffet – HK$168 per head

–       Light Desserts Buffet – HK$88 per head

–       Any Two Buffets from the above options – HK$218 per head

–       Full Buffet with all of the above options – HK$268 per head

–       A la carte options – HK$108 up

Congress Plus is located at Level 4, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong (or enter via 6/F of the Convention Plaza).

Congress Plus Opening Hours :

12 noon to 3 p.m. (Monday – Friday, except public holidays);

6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Monday – Sunday).
