Leading youth travel brand, Contiki, has launched its 2015-17 USA & Canada brochure, featuring 28 amazing trips ranging from 3-56 days taking in everything North America has to offer from the red rocks in canyon-land to the bright lights in big cities right down to the soul and sounds of the South.
New to Contiki’s 2015-17 USA & Canada brochure is the seven-day Canadian Encounter adventure exploring Washington, Pittsburgh, Niagara Falls, Toronto and Montreal. Priced from $1,415 per person, the trip includes a visit to Gettysburg National Park, a stunning cruise on Niagara Falls and a tasty tour of Ben & Jerry’s ice creamery. Also new is the eight-day Revolutionary Roads trip, taking in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York. Priced from $2,315 per person, young travellers will have the chance to explore five of USA’s major cities and iconic landmarks from Harvard to the Statue of Liberty and the White House.
Katrina Barry, Managing Director, Contiki Australia says: “North America is such an incredible and fun place to visit, truly offering Australians the time of their life. At Contiki, we want to expand the possibilities even further for young travellers in North America with our 2015-17 USA & Canada programme. Designed to give 18-35s the best possible trip and enable them to make every moment count, we’ve painstakingly selected the best highlights, exclusive accommodation, great food and unforgettable experiences.
“North America consistently rates highlight in our customer research, with the most recent results showing it is within the top five bucket list places 18-35 year olds want to go. In terms of trends we’re finding that more and more young travellers want to go beyond the big three – LA, Las Vegas and New York – and discover America’s real heartland. On the back of this trend we’ve introduced two new In-Depth Explorer trips to this year’s brochure. These include the new seven-day Revolutionary Roads which travels through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York, taking in some of America’s most important monuments and cultural icons with plenty of time to absorb the historic significance of these places.”
The new brochure also highlights the significant cost benefits of travelling with Contiki versus young travellers going it alone. Based on the cost of spending on a typical day in San Francisco, young travellers can save over AU$100 per day by travelling with Contiki thanks to included local transport, breakfasts, centrally located accommodation and the on hand local knowledge of a Trip Manager.
“Contiki has been running trips through North America for over 30 years and our continued success in these markets comes down to our incredible value and service offering, our Trip Manager and driver teams who call North America home, full service coaches and an unmatched number of inclusions which make travelling with Contiki the clear choice for 18-35’s.” Barry continued.
Contiki travellers can save up to $1,250 when taking advantage of the Early Payment Discount of up to 10% off selected 2015-17 USA and Canada tours when they book and pay in full by 17 September, 2015.
