As young travellers continue to search for far-flung, exotic and insta-worthy destinations for 2020, Contiki Holidays has launched 5 brand new trips to Patagonia and Colombia and 13 improved trips across Latin America in their latest product release for the region.

For young travellers who want to experience a destination truly different to home, Contiki’s new and improved trips offer hand-picked itineraries at a level of quality and comfort, designed to get under the skin of the local Latin American culture, with deposits as low as $200. Travellers can also secure a 10% early payment discount until 19th June 2019.

The 5 new itineraries boast once-in-a-lifetime experiences including a boat safari through Patagonia’s iconic Perito Moreno Glacier fields, a hike through the wilderness of Torres del Paine and optional Ice Climbing at Los Glaciares National Park; while in Colombia, travellers can jump-start their adrenaline with paragliding or white water rafting in San Gil, trek to the ‘Lost City’ of Ciudad Perdida, and camp overnight on the pristine coastline of Tayrona National Park.

Patagonia is widely considered to be one of the last great ancient and untamed habitable parts of the world remaining, and arguably the closest to unexplored glacial wilderness outside of Antarctica.

Colombia, an under-represented tourist destination for many years, is now being revealed as a biodiverse, culturally rich, and relatively unspoilt corner of Latin America.

The addition of these two new destinations means further expanding the impressive number of trekking and hiking experiences available across Contiki’s 32 total trips available in Latin America, which includes access and locally guided tours through more than 10 iconic National Parks, Reserves and protected land areas throughout the region.

In addition, the 13 improved trip itineraries across Contiki’s existing Latin America product offer more local experiences than ever before; including a day trip to Argentina’s Gaucho country for lunch at a traditional Estancia, Tequila tasting in Mexico’s famous town of Tequila, and sunset sailing in the Belize island of Caye Caulker.

Contiki’s Latin America product is exclusively for travellers aged 18-35, looking to meet like-minded people on small group travel adventures of 30 max. Young people travelling with Contiki can expect unique accommodation (3-4 star hotels & hostels and Special Stays), the expertise of a highly trained team of multi-lingual Trip Managers & Local Guides, and transport in private mini-coaches, internal flights and trains to get to destinations quicker & more comfortably.

Contiki’s complete Latin America product offering delivers an impressive variety of real, local and unique cultural experiences on every trip. For more detail on the experiences Contiki offer in Latin America, visit http://www.contiki.com/destinations/latin-america
