Coogee Bay Hotel is excited to announce that its Boutique Hotel is currently undergoing
a $6 million upgrade. This is an exciting transformation for the Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel, with the last accommodation upgrade taking place in 2008. The new offering invites guests to choose between two types of rooms, both delivering a unique and indulgent beachside stay.

“We are excited to be investing in a new and innovative hotel offering, welcoming guests while reinvigorating Coogee as a destination for leisure and corporate travellers” said Kun Rahadian, General Manager Accommodation & Sales, Coogee Bay Hotel.

“An important part of our business is conferencing and events. To have upgraded accommodation rooms will provide a more compelling offer to our conferencing clients from around Australia.

“Renovating the hotel both physically and with upgraded in-room offerings, we plan on delivering extraordinary guest experiences each and every time and are looking forward to re-introducing ourselves to new and existing guests starting from the end of this year.”

Expertly designed by ID Studios and to be built by INFIGO, guests will be invited to unwind among the new, bespoke décor that exudes a fun and relaxed atmosphere that aims to position the Boutique Hotel as a venue of choice for guests.

“The main focus for us during the design process with Coogee Bay Hotel was to incorporate a beach vibe into the new design while still taking into account the heritage of the building and its surroundings,” said Vera McElroy, Director/Interior Designer, ID Studios.

“We came up with a very personalized feeling that is retro chic, unexpected and playful, while set in a beautiful coastal environment. All consideration was given to guest amenities, leaving a great end result with unique design of texture and colourful finishes throughout.”

Complementing our newly upgraded rooms, will be a new in-room dining menu, innovative in-house technology such as a smart phone concierge and free hi-speed WiFi as some of the new additions guests can enjoy from the comfort of their room.

For a level of truly unique pampering, guests will be treated to complimentary sustainable
Indigenous hair and skin products by Eloura Australia.

The renovation will see the hotel’s 23 Heritage Rooms completed with a bright and modern-beachside aesthetic. These rooms will pay homage to the rich history of the hotel through a photographic collection depicting key moments from the Hotel’s 146-years in operation.

For those celebrating a special occasion, its well-worth securing one of the Hotel’s four suites which overlook Coogee Beach. The Heritage Rooms are Phase One of the project and will be ready to launch mid-December.

With 51 Boutique Rooms also available, guests can feel right at home in these oversized modern-classic rooms, complete with kitchenette, extensive storage and private balcony.

The Boutique Rooms will form part of Phase Two of the refurbishment project, and are
expected to be completed by winter season 2020.

Coinciding with the official launch of the completed Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel in mid2020, will be the introduction of a brand-new guest loyalty program and a website which will offer exciting incentives for guests to book directly with the Hotel.
