South Pacific idyll, the Cook Islands is inviting Australians to Discover Our World – and save big in the process with week-long holidays available from under $1000.

Cook Islands Tourism’s Discover Our World sale is on from 27 July to 16 August 2014. Sale prices on both airfares and air and land packages are available for travel 4 October to 5 December 2014, 24 January to 3 April 2015 and 2-29 May 2015.

The fantastic deals start from $929 pp twin share for a six night Air New Zealand Holidays package at Puaikura Reef Lodges, including return Air New Zealand flights from Sydney. For Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth passengers, one night’s accommodation at the Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is included.  Valid for travel 24 January to 31 March 2015.

The lead-in family package is Spacifica’s $3396 ($1199 per adult, $499 per child) deal for two adults and two children at Edgewater Resort & Spa, Rarotonga including six nights accommodation, return Air New Zealand flights from Sydney, breakfast daily, airport transfers, Koka Lagoon Cruise, plus two kids under 12 play and eat free.  Valid for travel 24 January to 27 March 2015.

The sale will be supported by a print and digital advertising campaign with Sydney Morning Herald Traveller on Sunday, Fairfax Traveller online, News Digital, Facebook, Skyscanner and Viator, as well as consumer edms and social media posts.

Additionally, Trip Advisor will have a dedicated Cook Islands Destination page including photos and videos and a brochure to download.

“The Cook Islands is working hard to tempt more Australians to Discover Our World and agents will find this sale offers deals tailored for any client. There are great value packages for couples, families, romance seekers and adventurers, ranging from six to 13 nights, generally based on Air New Zealand’s weekly direct flight to Rarotonga from Sydney on Saturday evenings,” says Cook Islands Tourism General Manager, Australia Kerryn Cook.

The direct service takes just under six hours to reach beautiful and fun-filled Rarotonga, in the heart of Polynesia just over the international dateline.
