Kids’ jury chooses the best dishes for the on-board selection

Having a meal on board a plane should be both fun and delicious for kids. That’s why Lufthansa has special children’s menus for their young passengers, developed by top chefs especially for these “challenging customers.” http://indusatryclub.com.au/

The latest of these is the award-winning chef from Hamburg, Cornelia Poletto, who has created a new range of delicious dishes for young Lufthansa passengers, all suitable for children’s tastes, as well as being healthy. These will be available free-of-charge on board from February 2017, as long as you pre-book. Today she was there in person at LSG Skychefs in Frankfurt to meet a jury of ten children. The children, aged between four and ten years old, selected the best and most attractive dishes from Cornelia Poletto’s children’s menu selection and had a lot of fun doing it, too.

Cornelia Poletto, who is herself mother of a 14-year-old daughter, is passionately interested in and involved in the area of “cooking with children”. As patron of the Altona Hospital, for example, she regularly cooks with the young patients there. In her work with the Lawaetz Foundation, she took over patronage of the Lurup district cookbook project for schoolchildren, called “Yes, we can ….cook”. On top of this, she has also paid visits to a number of different schools in connection with the big “school canteen test”.
