There is only one month to go until some of the most esteemed travel industry professionals in Australia gather for the annual AFTA, National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), to be held on the 20th July2013, and the industry is ramping up for what is set to be an incredible night.

With more award categories than ever, this year’s NTIA will see 33 winners take home prestigious awards in their respective categories in front of over 1200 guests, a record number of attendees.

AFTA CEO, Jayson Westbury said the NTIA Gala Dinner is an important night for the travel industry and all the finalists. It gives them well deserved recognition for all their hard work, and their ongoing support and contributions to the travel industry.

“This year’s NTIA Gala Dinner is already looking fantastic,” Mr Westbury said, “After a long lead up, we are now in the final countdown to this year’s event and we couldn’t be happier with the overwhelming amount of support we have received from AFTA member organisations, finalists, and of course our sponsors.”

“The 2013 NTIA Gala Dinner will highlight the experience and high calibre of AFTA members across the board.

It’s a time to celebrate our achievements, and reflect on a tremendous year that has passed.”

Tickets to the event are currently sold out, but anyone wanting to attend should put their name on the waitlist to increase the chances of getting a ticket. The wait list can be found here:

Entertainment for the evening will include an aerial and acrobatic act, performed by cirque-style entertainment talent Aerial Artistry®, incredible performances, and Andrew Daddo, Australian actor, author and TV personality will host the evening.

Qantas is the major sponsor of the 2013 NTIA, providing much valued support in recognising and celebrating the industry’s best. Entry to the AFTA Party sponsored by Singapore Airlines is also included with every Gala Dinner ticket purchased.
