With the official launch of the Crown Ballroom last night to industry and business leaders, Crown Hotels has showcased its determination to capitalise on Perth’s growing reputation as an events capital with its latest venture – Crown Towers– in what is a clear strategy to leverage and extend the 26% growth[1] in international and interstate conference and business delegates coming to Perth over the past five years.

According to Senior Vice President Global Sales Crown Hotels, Kylie Burchmore, Crown Towers Perth was designed with a clear vision in mind – to become Perth’s leading events spaces, and one of the top destinations in Australia.

“With Tourism Research Australia telling us that Perth attracted over 54,000 conference and business delegates over the last five years, we saw the opportunity to capitalise on this growth and provide an impressive event space that rivals not only in Western Australia – but venues across the eastern seaboard as well,” said Burchmore. “We have taken the standard to a whole new level and are confident that this new offer will help attract even more business – from interstate and international markets – to Perth.”

As one of the largest conference spaces in Perth, Crown Ballroom has been built to emulate Crown’s famous Palladium Ballroom in Melbourne which is home to large scale prestigious events such as The Brownlow and The Logies.

The venue can accommodate gala events for up to 1,500 delegates – from large scale international conferences, right through to local business events. Combined with the rest of the Crown Perth integrated resort offerings, Crown Events & Conferences can now cater for up to 3,500 delegates at one time.

In addition to the more traditional spaces such as the recently refurbished Grand Ballroom, innovation will also be key to the Crown Towers Perth offer, with many non-traditional options packaged into the events and conferences offer. These include:

A private lounge located on the 15th floor that includes private lounge areas, business facilities, a cocktail bar and an open terrace with unimpeded views of the resort and Perth skyline.

The privately gated Mansions are situated next to the resort and provide guests with the utmost exclusivity and seclusion – and are ideal as an accommodation option or for events for up to 150 people.

THE ENCLAVE (Crown Towers poolside)
Suitable for up to 200 guests, the secluded poolside retreat features luxurious cabanas surrounding an infinity pool and bar with city views.

Located alongside the Crown Towers resort pool overlooking the city, The Great Lawn can be tailored from cocktail dining under the stars to a group corporate team building events.

Boasting 500 elegant and spacious guest rooms, suites and villas, Crown Towers Perth also features all-day dining venue Epicurean, stylish lobby bar TWR, and the sumptuous Crown Spa. Delegates will get to enjoy the properties expansive 8,800 square metre resort style pools, complete with private cabanas and poolside dining, and spectacular views across Perth’s city skyline.

As a leading Australian tourism and entertainment company, Crown Hotels remains committed to building a worldwide reputation for the best in conventions and events, luxury experiences, hotel accommodation, gaming, signature dining and retail.
