Culinary Week at COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach

COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach is pleased to announce their first annual Culinary Week: a three-day celebration — from May 22nd to May 24th 2017 — of the diverse cuisine served in COMO’s hotels and resorts worldwide.

Three top chefs from COMO properties in Australia, London and Bali will be visiting Miami to give diners a unique, four-course taste of their favourite dishes from their respective restaurant menus. The chefs will also be joined by ambassadors from some of the world’s best vineyards, who will provide exquisite pairing wines to complement every dish, throughout the three evenings.

The three visiting chefs will be: Jed Gerrard, Head Chef of Wildflower in Perth, whose dishes explore the finest Western Australian culinary traditions; Daniel Moran, COMO Hotels and Resorts Executive Chef, whose menu will demonstrate his commitment to healthy and nutritious food; and Sergi Sanz Blanco of the Michelin-starred Ametsa with Arzak Instruction in London, whose exciting ‘New Basque’ cuisine has been winning young chef plaudits from all over London.

Some of the visiting wineries will be Castello Banfi from Tuscany, Maison Joseph Drouhin from Burgundy, and Rolland & Galarreta from Spain’s Basque region. The full programme of visiting chefs and vintners can be found here.

Culinary Week is an opportunity for curious gourmands to try classic dishes from around the world, in the comfort of Miami’s renowned Traymore restaurant. During the three nights of Culinary Week, diners can enjoy a Taittinger Champagne cocktail from 7.30pm, before dinner is served in Traymore restaurant from 8.00pm.

COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach is offering the following packages for diners:

Priced at AUD$122 per person, or AUD$368 for all three nights

  • A one-night stay at COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach
  • Full breakfast

Prices start from AUD$465 per night for single occupancy in a City View room, or AUD$633 for a double occupancy.

All three nights can be enjoyed from AUD$1,396 per person.
