Cumulus Inc. celebrates its 10th birthday with initiatives throughout June, including taking bookings for the very first time

The restaurant was created by Andrew and Jayden to reflect the energy of Melbourne with an offer of all day dining, ensuring that no matter what time of day, there will always be something on the menu to satisfy customers’ needs; from a homemade crumpet in the morning or a mid-afternoon house-cured charcuterie board, to a late night slow roasted lamb shoulder to share among friends.

Andrew, Jayden and the team have also devised a number of special celebrations that will run in June and July to give thanks to their loyal customers and pay tribute to the Victorian producers with whom they have built exceptionally strong ties.

These initiatives include:

● On Sunday 1st July, Andrew and Jayden will host a lunch celebrating 10 years of Cumulus Inc upstairs in Cumulus Up. Expect a menu of their favourite dishes, wine and beverage matches from the last 10 years ~ a relaxed celebration of what they love and what they love doing. $120 per person – includes menu & wines. Reservations for the event go on sale on Tuesday the 12th of June and are accepted via phone on 03 9650 1445.

● A sharp shortlist of 10 wines from the venue’s favourite producers, poured by the glass for a special one-time-only price of $10 per glass & A plate of 10 x shucked-to-order oysters for $10 Both are available every night from 5:00pm for 10 days only: Friday 29th June – Sunday 8th July

● The Cumulus Inc. Birthday Cake – A decadent chocolate, malt and whisky cake will be available all day, whenever one needs it, all throughout June.

● Long-time Cumulus Inc. collaborators, Curly Flat winery has created a celebratory Pinot Noir (2017 vintage) which will be available at Cumulus Inc. until sold out. This wine perfectly represents the restaurant’s philosophy – handcrafted by friends, locally and sustainably produced and of course, utterly delicious.

Cumulus Inc. revolutionised contemporary dining in Melbourne, introducing an all day dining experience of ‘informality in a fine dining space’. It also inspired a style of service which was approachable, practical and purposeful. Jayden’s commitment to delivering a quality and consistent front of house experience, paired with Andrew’s devotion to seasonality and Victorian produce has meant that Cumulus Inc. has stayed at the top of its game from 2008 until now, and looks to remain a Melbourne favourite well into the future.
