DACSEE sets new benchmark for global ride-hailing industry

The launch of the Decentralized Alternative Cabs Serving & Empowering Everyone (DACSEE) ridesharing platform today in Bangkok, Thailand will revolutionize the world’s ride-hailing industry.  In stark contrast with the world market leaders, DACSEE’s open and decentralized design allows for transparent and enforceable social and economic benefits for all parties involved, from regulators at the highest levels of government to the dedicated taxi drivers on the road each day.

“Riding on the Government’s Thailand 4.0 wave, we felt that Bangkok was a perfect launch pad for our DACSEE community project as it would enable the country to take a bold step forward into the digital age, and allow its citizens to empower themselves through cutting-edge technologies.  Also, we found the perfect local technology partner in DMD Technology Co., Ltd. as they have been instrumental in spearheading the localization, customization and integration into the Thai market”, commented Mr. Alexander von Kaldenberg, CEO of DACSEE, on why he and his team chose to launch the unique app in Thailand.

Taxi drivers can use the DACSEE platform to empower themselves far beyond any current options in the marketplace.  The most important part is that DACSEE is not a company, and therefore has no financial incentive to take a large commission out of the drivers’ income.  This allows for a much higher return for the driver for every ride that they make.  Current ride-hailing companies are taking an ever-increasing amount from any given transaction, recently as high as 30%.  That does not include all the extra fees involved, which can end up leaving the drivers in a very unfavorable position.  With DACSEE, driver can also create their ‘own fleet’, and earn up to 3-tier commission levels and other performance bonuses in DACSEE tokens.  Additionally, instead of promoting fierce competition between each other, DACSEE enables drivers to recruit other drivers, which has many healthy benefits for the entire taxi ecosystem.

Drivers will not be the only beneficiaries of DACSEE.  Passengers can also earn DACSEE tokens, which can be redeemed in whatever currency they wish through any cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide, through referrals of other users or drivers.

In addition, DACSEE’s open design offers many features for the automated and transparent taxation for regulators with its “Government Wallet”.  This wallet is powered by the blockchain distribution settlement system, which allows a proven, transparent protocol to verify and display all taxable transactions.  With this, local governments are able to report and receive their dues in an open fashion, which is a massive paradigm shift away from the current taxi applications that fight to undercut regulators and drivers at every opportunity.

As of November 30, 2017, there are a total of 106,001 registered taxis in Thailand; 101,921 of which are in Bangkok and the remaining 4,080 are in upcountry areas. After Thailand, concrete plans are already in place to introduce DACSEE in India, Malaysia and China in 2018 before spreading its wings to other parts of the world.
