Daydream Island Announces New Staff Appointments

Daydream Island Resort and Spa has announced key appointments at its sales office in Brisbane and also in the regional sales office located on Daydream Island.http://www.legrandebaliuluwatu.com/

Alicia Evans has been promoted to conference and events sales manager based in Brisbane.  Ms Evans had previously held the role of wedding sales executive with Daydream Island having made a significant contribution in this area. Before joining Daydream, she worked in a sales role within the Accor Group and prior to that was the senior conference & wedding coordinator on Daydream Island.

“We are delighted to bolster our C&E team with Alicia’s appointment,” said Daydream Island Resort and Spa chief executive officer Scott Wilkinson.

“Alicia’s previous experience in weddings, conferences and events will help drive our sales to the important NSW, VIC and International MICE markets, which are a large source of business to the Resort.”

Another appointment supporting Daydream’s MICE business is Sarah Mullett who commences as business development executive/regional sales executive based on Daydream Island.  Ms Mullett will specifically drive new conference and events business within Queensland as well as providing support to the regional sales manager. She joins Daydream with a broad hospitality background including conference and events sales roles with Accor Hotels in Melbourne.

Replacing Alicia Evans in the role of wedding sales executive is Belinda Letts. Ms Letts takes up her new role at Daydream in the Brisbane sales office following roles as sales, marketing and event coordinator at Linley Estate Receptions and wedding coordinator at Chateau Wyuna Receptions, both in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Her experience in wedding planning and sales will be invaluable in her new role.
