Merlin’s Magic Wand Christmas Promotion

Merlin’s Magic Wand, a worldwide charity established by Merlin Entertainments plc (Merlin), brings magical experiences to seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children by arranging visits to Merlin attractions. This Christmas, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will partner with three charitable organisations: Benji’s Centre, Heep Hong Society Tung Chung Centre and Yan Oi Tong for a magical day out, where children with special needs will visit the attraction and receive exciting gifts for the festive season.

On 24 Dec 2015, Hong Kong and Macau residents with disabilities can also experience the joy of Merlin’s Magic Wand by presenting their Registration Card for People with Disabilities or Disability Assessment Registration Card to enter for free and receive a free gift. From 4 Dec 2015 to 1 Jan 2016, visitors from outside of Hong Kong can obtain an event booklet from Hong Kong WinterFest and present it at the attraction’s admissions counter to enjoy 50% discount on child tickets (aged 3 – 11; reduced from original price HKD 175 to HKD 87.50). Kung Fu Zone features the wax likeness of four world-renowned martial arts film stars: Bruce Lee (left), Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh (right) and Donnie Yen. A series of interactive experiences also awaits visitors as they make their way through the themed area.

At K-wave Zone, the only Korean themed zone across Madame Tussauds worldwide, fans can re-enact romantic scenes from the popular K-drama My Love from the Star with Kim Soo-hyun’s wax figure, who appears as the charming Professor Doo Min-joon (left); or relax with Bae Yong-joon’s wax figure at a quaint Myeongdong Café (right).
