Delectable Dessert Demonstrations As Intercontinental Sydney Returns To This Year’s Smooth Festival Of Chocolate
InterContinental Sydney is delighted to announce its return to the Smooth Festival of Chocolate. The popular event will be returning for its second year on September 12 and 13 in Sydney’s The Rocks.
InterContinental Sydney’s Director of Culinary and Food & Beverage Services, Tamas Pamer will be showcasing one of his best desserts and highlighting his dessert prowess, alongside a handful of Australia’s best chefs at the Callebaut Test Kitchen. Tamas will be whipping up a delectable Chocolate Mochi with red bean ice-cream and aerated dried chocolate.
Tamas focuses on using only the best local produce whilst implementing his modern cooking style with a twist. He is renowned for his unique menu at InterContinental Sydney’s latest restaurant, 117 dining, and is thrilled to return to the festival this year.

Inspired by the Smooth Chocolate Festival, Tamas, together with Head Pastry Chef Youssef Aderdour, have created an exclusive High Tea offering, exclusively available for the month of September. Set yourself up in the picturesque Cortile, with a glass of sparkling wine and enjoy the exquisite selection of desserts, such as the delicious Raspberry peanut butter chocolate bar.
