Viking Cruises has seen unprecedented demand for three of its newest ocean itineraries – North Pacific Passage, Far East Horizons and Alaska & the Inside Passage.

The demand for Viking’s 23 day North Pacific Passage and 15 day Far East Horizons itineraries reflects the curiosity of the Australian and New Zealand market to explore hotspots such as Japan, Russia and Alaska. Similarly, the demand for the 11 day Alaska & the Inside Passage itinerary echoes the trend in visiting unique, historical locations like Ketchikan and Sitka and the chance to see the iconic Alaskan landscape.

“Our new itineraries have really tapped into the hot right now destinations where consumers are wanting to travel to,” said Michelle Black, Managing Director Viking Cruises Australia and New Zealand. “We are also still seeing sustained demand for two of our hero itineraries, Viking Homelands and Into the Midnight Sun. Time in destination is one of our key USPs and our unique destination-focused itineraries and extensive onboard inclusions really differentiates our ocean cruising product, we look forward to welcoming even more curious travellers to The Viking Way in 2018.”
