Purposes for meetings and gatherings are becoming bolder, more defined and necessary than ever as we are all faced with new challenges, new destinations, higher expectations, and greater competition all in all to succeed.

Perspective 1Embracing this enduring and dynamic industry and city for the future of business, JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok is ecstatic to announce an exciting transformation of its grand ballroom and function spaces.   The new ballroom will introduce a new sophisticated look and dynamic feel aiming to be a compelling venue, for business meetings and social functions to be taken to the next level. A complete radical modification of the ballroom enhances the aspirations of the urban achiever and shape Bangkok’s MICE Venue for Thailand’s next chapter.

Having commenced renovations in early June, designers Mr. Carl Almeida and Mr. Paul Panja of P49 Deesign & Associates Company Limited infuse 2015’s ‘Style-Setting’ color pantone trend to provoke residential elegance with urban flair.  The core design concept aims to reflect the personal lifestyle of the metropolitan achiever that is elegantly confident and smart.

The designer duo restyles 1,521 square meters of venue space that includes the grand ballroom, 9 meeting rooms with luxury details to complement the stylish and exclusive Manhattan Studio and Sukhumvit meeting rooms.  Design modifications will include a new maze carpet, wall coverings of metal screening held up with wooden brown-hued wall panels accented with violet and orange chairs.  Manhattan art and design elements are configured to resemble and enhance this bespoke environment.

Perspective 2The new ballroom will also be equipped with the latest lighting design system employing LED-RGB technology, multiple modern chandeliers for a contemporary highlight, new audiovisual arrangements and the installation of a new WIFI conference system, applicable to multiple function rooms.

There are three separate zones that express a variety of aesthetics. “The Arrival Hall” is designed to welcome and is ideal for pre-cocktail events and social gatherings complemented with unique elements of class and comfort including a sophisticated bar, lounge seating, library shelves and an art gallery to satisfy enthusiasts.

“The Open Kitchen” is a platform for guests and our Chefs to interact, perfect for cocktail receptions, coffee breaks and especially cooking classes. Designed to engage, this space fosters interaction, networking and inspiration.  “The Residential Style Ballroom and Meeting Room” comfortably hosts up to 700 guests cocktail style and up to 600 guests for extraordinary gala events.  This is ideal for crafted business meetings of all kinds and memorable celebrations.

Experience a venue designed for functionality with flair to deliberately captivate and charm you from the very first steps onto the floor.  Anticipate this harmonious blend of distinctive character, refined setting and functionality for successful events opening this September 2014.
