image004Summer is not the only time to celebrate family love. At W Hong Kong, we celebrate it months ahead. Kicking off its “Family Fun” season, KITCHEN will be having a different theme during every month’s “Saturday is Family Day”  with month of April hailed as the “Children’s Month”, month of May “Mother’s Month” and the month of June “Father’s Month” plus “W Academy”. To begin, the modern bistro will be calling its April dining promotion “STILL ALICE”, merging elements of Easter, food arts and “Alice-in-Wonderland” all-in-one.

We all know what happens after Alice falls into the rabbit hole – she embarks on a journey in Wonderland and meets all kinds of creatures. But what if the mysterious hole brings her to another place – a place with limitless seafood, mouth-watering desserts, fun food art workshops and not to mention, an ample supply of edible Mr. Rabbits, would Alice STILL be Alice? Head to W Hong Kong’s KITCHEN, where the dining restaurant transforms into a garden of sweet temptations every Saturday in April plus during the Easter weekend, and find out what becomes of Alice.

With whimsical interiors inspired by Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”, KITCHEN takes a creative turn to the classic tale and redefines Wonderland through their new lunch and dinner buffets this April. Lined with an array of quirky desserts, such as the bunny cupcakes, cheeky bird chocolates, garden tarts, carrot cakes, chocolate layer loge and Easter cookies, guests with a sweet tooth certainly find this Wonderland hard to resist, especially the Rainbow Cake. With a rich base of vanilla and butter cream, a lingering taste of sweetness is produced. Together with a colorful palette, this treat is a blessing to both the lips and the eyes.

For those who want to save the sweets for later, the seafood corner shall do the trick: just imagine lobster, yabbie, Alaskan crab legs and more fresh from the deep, all within reach. Speaking of fresh, gourmands can indulge in a wide selection of fresh sashimi and sushi, like California rolls, roasted salmon sushi, and the list goes on. The hot dishes are not something to be missed too. Just take the Australian rack of lamb as an example. Marinated in Thai basil and mixed with spring vegetables and homemade chili mustard, the dish offers taste buds layers of flavors and becomes exceptionally appetizing.

As Easter is all about having fun with family, we will have celebrations with the feasts above not just during the Easter weekend, but every Saturday in April! And best of all – one child can eat the brunch for free per paying adult! Children can also unleash their artistic talents at an interactive food art workshop led by Art Loop each Saturday, where they can create their own cupcakes.

Saturday Brunch at KITCHEN in April

Together with a backdrop filled with dishes stacked in a very irregular manner just like the Mad Hatter Tea Party and the Cheshire cat peeking through, a wonderful culinary journey is guaranteed.

Whoever ventures into the W Hong Kong certainly become a different Alice. Bring your friends and family to KITCHEN and enjoy a magical, wondrous and simply delicious Easter holidays! Stay tuned for exciting promotions coming up in May and June
