‘Dinner Of The Love Knots’: Banyan Tree Macau’s Ultimate Romantic Dining Experience

Banyan Tree Macauis proud to bring Banyan Tree’s renowned ‘Destination Dining’ experience, the ultimate in romantic private dining, to couples looking to spend an intimate evening together under the stars in Macau. The ‘Dinner of the Love Knots’, offers sweethearts the perfect setting for commemorating a special celebrationor making the ideal wedding proposal – away from the hustle and bustle of the city, only an hour’s ferry ride from Hong Kong and the Delta region.

For the ‘Dinner of the Love Knots’, Banyan Tree Macau transforms its Cabana Pool Deck into a private oasis every evening for the exclusive use of one couple per night. ‘Love knots’ hang from the surrounding Osmanthus trees creating a romantic ambience. These ribbons – inspired by the story of Yue Lao, a god of marriage and love in Chinese mythology – embody a blessing for the couple to live happily-ever-after. Upon arrival, guests will be serenaded by a traditional Kheem performance. In keeping with Banyan Tree’s sustainability initiative “Greening Communities”, couples will receive a love potsymbolizing the couple’s blossoming relationship as a parting gift.

Banyan Tree Macau will offer a choice of two distinct gastronomic journeys for the couple to enjoy. The first is ‘Unforgettable Night’ by Belon, their signature Seafood and Grill restaurant. This degustation menu begins with an amuse bouche, followed by a luxurious Seafood Platterof gold caviar, tiger prawns, premium oysters, Alaskan crab legs and Hokkaido scallops. After that, a Lobster Bisque made with cognac flambé Boston lobster prepared by your personal chef just steps away from your candlelit private table. A plate of seasonal fruit sorbet prepared tableside is then served as a palate cleanser. A Surf And Turf dish comes next with a half grilled lobster and an 8 oz. slab of U.S.D.A prime tenderloin with a vegetable Skewer, whipped potatoes and truffle beef jus. To bring a decadent end to the meal, a 55% Chocolate PaletteEnvelope” and small Mignardises are served.

The second gourmet extravaganza is the ‘Royal Thai Grill’ bringing together favourites by award-winning Thai restaurant Saffron. To start, an amuse bouche ofHoi Nang Rom Song Krueng made with Fresh Oyster, Crispy Scallop, Chili and Lime Dressing, followed by an Pla Gong Yang Takrai Kub Hoi Shell appetizer prepared with a grilled tiger prawn skewer, Hokkaido scallop, salmon with lemongrass, shallot, mint. The Tom Yum Goong Maenam soup made with a traditional recipe that uses river prawns, lemongrass and galangal and main course, a barbeque selection of Boston Lobster follows. A Seabass and Australian Beef Rib Eye, is grilled by a la minute by the tableside, served with Jasmine Rice, Mussaman and red curry sauce. A Coconut Mousse with Thai Tea Ice Cream dessert completes the meal.

The ‘Dinner of the Love Knots’ is offered nightly at the Cabana Pool Deck between 7pm-10pm, with the ‘Unforgettable Night’ Set for two persons by Belon starting at MOP 3988+, while the ‘Thai Royal Grill’ Set for two persons by Saffron starts at MOP 2988+.
