Discount On German Rail Pass

DB train in GermanyAUSTRALIAN travellers’ exploring Germany can now save 20 per cent on German Rail passes and enjoy a selection of benefits and bonuses in southern Germany.

Holders of the German Promotional Rail Pass can receive bonuses such as a free city card in Wuerzburg or Regensburg, or follow the night-watchman through romantic Rothenburg or a discount on entry to the Neuschwanstein fairytale castle.

Adult, child and twin passes are available for in both first and standard class, youth passes are only available in standard, passes range from seven to 10 days travel within a one month period. They are for travel between numerous regional and main cities such as Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Frankfurt and are now priced from $236 per person twin share for adults (over 26 years old) on a second class seven day pass.

Valid for travel until January 31, 2014, they must be purchased by December 5, 2013.
