RIVER cruising specialists Beyond Travel have just released their inaugural itinerary for the first purpose built river cruising vessel to work Russian waters in more than 20 years in 2015, the Volga Dream II.

Marketing manager Bryce Crampton said the introduction of this new deluxe modern vessel is a strong indicator on the demand of high quality ships by travellers wishing to take cruising holidays in Russia.Artist impression of Volga Dream II

He added, “We are excited to not only be able to offer Australian travellers a newly built Russia river cruise ship, not  renovated ships like many of our competitors, but also to offer them great value cruises which are much more affordable without compromising on standards on facilities, activities or accommodation”.

To promote awareness of the new ship, earlybird specials of discounts up to $1295 per couple are available when booked and deposited by April 30 2014.  The 13-day cruise from Moscow to St Petersburg is now priced from $4840 per person twin share.

Beyond Travel has also introduced bonus “culture credits” of $150 per couple which can be redeemed against theatre tickets in Russia, such as the Bolshoi, Kirov, Moscow Circus and more.

Mr Crampton stressed though that agents can offer clients alternative cultural options such as museum entrance fee if clients wish to do something other than the theatre. Beyond Travel wants to promote the flexibility they can offer agents in terms of optional extras for their clients.
