The Director of the Sydney office, Korea Tourism Organization Mr. Sangweon Je today launched a new online campaign to encourage more Australian and New Zealand travellers to visit Korea in 2015. Mr. Je stated:  “There has never been a better time to visit Korea and take advantage of our complimentary Korea UNESCO World Heritage passport and T-Money  card.  The passport package with guide/map  and 10,000 Korean won transport card will allow travellers easy access to the beauty of Korea’s many spectacular UNESCO World Heritage sites.”

The campaign is being run via the official Sydney office website: and offers Australian and New Zealand  travellers to Korea the opportunity to take advantage of the free Korea UNESCO passport and transport card package to make their travels in Korea more enjoyable and memorable.

There are several UNESCO World Heritage sites in Seoul and nearby the capital that are easily accessible by subway.  Changdeok Palace with its serene and beautiful Secret Garden is in the centre of the city together with the Jongmyo Royal Shrine and just a short subway ride takes you to view the majesty of Suwon’s Hwaseong Fortress where you can walk the perimeter of the upper fortress walls.

The UNESCO World Heritage passport contains a guide and map to all of Korea’s UNESCO World Heritage sites as well as the  FREE T-Money Card with a credited value of 10,000 Korean won (approx. A$11.60 as at 27 March, 2015) to allow ease of travel on subways, buses and taxis.

The promotion runs online from 30 March to 30 June, 2015 and is available to Australian and New Zealand travellers travelling to Korea during 2015 who are staying in the country for a minimum two days up to three months (evidence of this is required).  There is a maximum of (500) passport packages including the free T-Money cards available to first come first served.

Also, for travellers who take advantage of the Korea UNESCO World Heritage passport package they can have a second opportunity to win an ‘Imagine your Korea’ over the shoulder bag by posting photos/reviews of their visit to Korea’s UNESCO world heritage sites on facebook.

Full details of the campaign and how to obtain your own Korea UNESCO World Heritage passport and T-Money card are on the Korea Tourism Organization Sydney office website:
