It’s summer time! Be pampered by the enticing tastes of the season with the brand new summer afternoon tea at Mirage Bar & Restaurant. Feast your eyes and taste buds with palatable desserts and delectable savouries crafted by our Pastry Chef Roger Fok and Mirage Chef Owen Panzica. Inspired by Mint Chocolate, the brand new flavour of Mövenpick Ice Cream, an additional sweet treat will also be unveiled.

Sit back at the urban oasis and indulge in the flavours of the season with the meticulously crafted Summer Afternoon Tea at Mirage.

What pops up in your mind about summer? The newly crafted sweet creations are filled with the imaginations of summer by Chef Roger. Feel the summer vibes with The Sunshine! The guava compote wrapped in vanilla whipping ganache and plated on buttery sablé breton will brighten up your taste buds. Head to the beach with a swim ring – Summer Strawberries. It is decadently made with baba pastry dipped in rosemary syrup and topped with strawberry chocolate, blasting fruity flavours with every mouth full. Discover the Seashell, which is a classic and fluffy Madeleine with a twist by adding a layer of caramel chocolate cream on top to enrich the flavours. Be surprised by the interesting textures of the lively Chocolate Fish, which is layered with chocolate biscuit, marshmallow and cocoa crunch. The popular Renaissance Cheesecake with heavenly rich texture is back to satisfy your cheesecake crave. For chocolate lovers, Kumquat features an intriguing combination of kumquat and caramel ganache in 62% dark chocolate.

Moving to the savoury delights created by Chef Owen, the intriguing Foie Gras Parfait creates an airy and creamy texture of foie gras mousse. Pairing with Maple-Almond Granola, the parfait brings a perfect balance between sweet and savoury notes. The appetizing sesame crusted Summer Salmon Tataki with piquillo pepper gazpacho freshens up your palate in this hot weather. Don’t miss the indigenous Crispy Calamari with lime and garlic aioli as well as the refreshing Halloumi and Pesto on Turkish Bread with Tomato.

Complete the afternoon tea with homemade assorted scones with clotted cream, strawberry jam, orange marmalade, along with your choice of freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Offering our guests an unusual coffee with the Summer Afternoon Tea, Mirage has newly introduced Leva X 90 Edition espresso machine, one of the 90 productions worldwide by La Marzocco. Enjoy an elevated coffee experience from this Ferrari of espresso machines.

EXPLORE UNUSUAL DESSERT INSPIRED BY MÖVENPICK’S NEW FLAVOUR

From 16 July onwards, guests can exclusively enjoy an additional sweet morsel crafted by Chef Roger along with the afternoon tea set! In collaboration with the launch of Mövenpick new ice cream flavour Mint Chocolate, Chef Roger has created “Emerald”, an edible art piece with tantalizing Mövenpick Mint Chocolate Ice Cream wrapped in mint glaze with a pearl and white chocolate shell! Yoghurt meringue powder with lime and mint gel encasing the pearl elevates the flavour of the dessert.

Sip on intriguing drinks to pair with the summer afternoon tea. Summer Fizz (add HK$ 55) will cool you down with sparkling wine, citrus and tropical sunset tea. One Chai (add HK$ 20) is a booze-free yet still chilling option without sparkling wine.

Summer Afternoon Tea is available from now till 31 August 2018, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. It is priced at HK$ 148 per person on Monday to Friday and HK$ 168 per person on weekends and public holidays.
