Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival – May 27-28, 2017
As one of California’s largest festivals, this family-style event brings together thousands of visitors and residents to enjoy activities and entertainment. Features include the Strawberry Stampede, hundreds of art, craft and display booths, ethnic foods, and the festival’s signature scrumptious strawberry treats. The beautiful May weather and the historic ambiance of downtown Arroyo Grande also adds to the festival’s allure.

California Festival of Beers – May 27th, 2017
As one of the largest and oldest regional beer festivals in California, the Festival of Beers (BeerFest) offers guests the opportunity to sample, learn and enjoy beers from breweries locally and around the world. Wine, Waves and Beyond – June 2-4, 2017

This guilty pleasure comfort food is served up in the most creative ways possible – wrapped in bacon, with lobster bits and more! The best restaurants in SLO CAL are competing to produce the winning dish, and the wine and beer samples that accompany these delicious eats make for an awesome event. California Mid-State Fair– July 19–30, 2017
The California Mid-State Fair offers some of the best summer musical entertainment on the Central Coast with national acts like The Chainsmokers, John Mayer, Matchbox Twenty and Keith Urban. Bring along your family and enjoy 12 days of concerts, carnival rides, games, arts, crafts, equestrian shows and much more. New for 2017 are live art demonstrations, Strongest Man & Woman contest, a tractor & truck pull and the Wild West Turkey Stampede!

Festival Mozaic– July 19–30, 2017
From Bach and beyond to Mozart and more, Festival Mozaic presents nationally and internationally renowned musicians in beautiful venues throughout San Luis Obispo County. Founded in 1971 as the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Festival Mozaic is one of the oldest and most respected classical music festivals in the West. Taking place in July, with additional concerts throughout the year, the Festival offers more than 30 events in SLO CAL’s most charismatic spaces.

Avocado and Margarita Festival– September 9, 2017
A celebration of SLO CAL’s incredible local produce, this festival features California’s best avocados and premium Margaritas as you walk along the classic Embarcadero Street in Morro Bay. Local organizations will be serving the best chips and guacamole to sample all day as you visit local vendor booths, sway to live music and sip from a salted rim.

Cambria Scarecrow Festival– October 1– 31, 2017
The Cambria Scarecrow Festival began in 2009 initiating one of the most artful and unique scarecrow festivals in the United States and on the Central Coast. Each October the warm sun brightens Cambria and sparks the magic of hundreds (over 350) of unique scarecrows displayed throughout Cambria’s East and West Villages, and along Moonstone Beach Drive. Visit unique business districts filled with boutiques, restaurants, and wine and beer tastings before strolling the unspoiled beaches or hiking the many trails that wrap their way into the pines.

Morro Bay Harbor Festival– October 7, 2017
Experience the Annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival, one of the premier events on California’s spectacular Central Coast. Taste the freshest seafood straight off the boat and sample wine and beer from local wineries and breweries in the Seafood, Beer and Wine Court. Bring the kids and be delighted by the strolling entertainment and performance art throughout the festival, as well as the free, interactive Discovering Science exhibit.

Central Coast Railroad Festival– October 13-15, 2017
Seeing the Pacific Coast by rail is a long tradition, one celebrated by the Central Coast Railroad Festival. The festival attracts the attention of avid and casual rail fans as well as curious folks from across the Western United States with historical, educational and recreational events. Guests enjoy the inspiring detail of model railroads, take part in train crafting activities for all ages and ride Amtrak excursions on the Pacific Surfliner and Coast Starlight routes. Live music, historical walks and more celebrate National Train Day at this unique, county-wide event in SLO CAL!

Atascadero Colony Days– October 21, 2017
