Spread the love

Spring is the best time of year to be inspired by nature and spend time outdoors. The flowers are in bloom at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, so come down and put brush to canvas at our Art in Nature workshops or Garden pARTy.

Children can discover the world of music at the Meet the Orchestra event on the 1 September. Hit Disney tunes such as Frozen and Moana will be performed by the Western Sydney Youth Orchestra at this relaxed and informal concert, which has been specially designed to be interactive, informative and most importantly, lots of fun for parents and kids.

Paint a stunning landscape, draw the intricate details of a flower or photograph the smallest pattern on a butterfly’s wing at the new Art in Nature workshops. The artists in the Garden will teach you how to capture the wonders of the world around you through a multitude of mediums.

For the more bold and ambitious artists, try the Garden pARTy. This amazing night of wine, nibbles, music and painting allows you to capture the marvel that is the human figure, amongst the blooming flowers in a truly ‘au naturel’ setting. Or, why not come along for the wine and party part in the evening?

Spend a special day with us at the 30th Birthday Garden Picnic. This year the Garden is turning the big 3 – 0, and we invite you to join us in an afternoon of free celebration and activities for the whole family.
