To celebrate Disneyland’s Diamond Anniversary, Disneyland and Qantas are joining forces to help Australian families make their Disneyland dream a reality in 2015.
The Disneyland Resort attracts more tourists from Australia than any other international destination outside the US and Canada.
For decades, Australia’s national carrier, Qantas, has made family holiday dreams come true, safely flying countless Australians to the world’s most magical family holiday destination. This year as part of the Diamond Anniversary celebrations, Qantas together with Disneyland, will be offering the below through May and June:
- 31 return flights weekly to Los Angeles
- A special Qantas Frequent Flyer promotion for members to win a family trip to Disneyland with 5 nights accommodation, access to the exclusive magic hour in the park and much more
- A dedicated page on com where customers can keep up to date on the latest celebration activities, deals and special offers
- A special inflight Disney themed service to kick off the celebrations
As part of the Diamond Celebration, commencing May 22, Disneyland will be showcasing three sensational new night time spectaculars that will dazzle guests and excite the senses. Nighttime will glitter as never before when the latest technology and immersive special effects lift the “Paint the Night” parade and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks spectacular beyond anything seen in the past at Disneyland Park.
In Disney California Adventure Park, a new “World of Color” show hosted by Mickey Mouse and Hollywood star Neil Patrick Harris will tell the story of Walt Disney and the Happiest Place on Earth through fountains, film, animation, a stirring musical score and amazing visual surprises.
The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland and Carthay Circle Theatre in Disney California Adventure will glisten and gleam for the celebration, each with its own diamond medallion. The Disneyland Resort and surrounding streets will sparkle with Diamond Celebration décor and festive banners in shades of Disneyland blue.
In addition to honouring 60 years of operation, the Diamond Celebration focuses on the future of Disneyland while fulfilling Walt Disney’s promise that “Disneyland will never be completed … as long as there is imagination left in the world.”
There is no better to time to visit Disneyland than now and no better way to travel there than Qantas.
