Disruptive naked man’s grotesque in-flight behaviour

Airport and police authorities have detained an allegedly aggressive airline passenger said to have stripped naked during an international flight and performed a number of bizarre and offensive actions.

The Bangladeshi man, reportedly a university student, was arrested on arrival at Shahjalal International Airport in the Bangladesh capital of Dhaka.

He allegedly removed his clothes during the flight, urinated on his seat, masturbated while watching porn on a personal electronic device and attacked a female flight attendant who asked him to put his clothes back on.

Malaysia’s New Straits Times said the man, who was flying Malindo Air from Kuala Lumpur, was a 20-year-old student attending a private university in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

The man’s strange behaviour began shortly after takeoff from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the publication reported, when he stripped naked and started to watch porn in his seat, apparently oblivious to other passengers around him.

Once the plane reached cruising altitude, the man tried to hug one of the female cabin crew. Whether he was clothed at that point is unclear.

Other reports said the man made a second attempt to hug another stewardess and turned aggressive when cabin crew tried to calm him, until apprehended and restrained.

A spokesman for the airline said crew followed the standard operating procedure.

“The disruptive passenger was accompanied by Dhaka security team upon arrival and he has been put to jail by the authorities there.

“The airline will continue to stay vigilant to ensure passengers travel soundly.”
