The group of Camino adventurers will travel 111km on foot from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. This is the most popular section of all the Camino routes.
You will be arriving in Santiago de Compostela on Good Friday, one of the central days of celebration in the city. Visit the old town in the evening to experience two magnificent processions: ‘Santo Entierro’ in the Church of San Domingos de Bonaval at 8pm and the Virgen de la Soledad procession taking place at 11pm from Church of Santa Maria Salome.

APRIL 13TH – EASTER ON THE VIA FRANCIGENA – VITERBO TO ROME
This amazing 100km walk through Italy is a great opportunity to witness Easter celebrations in Rome, one of Europe’s most spectacular cities.
The last day on the trail (Holy Thursday) will see you arriving in the Vatican along the famous ‘Via Triumphale’, with sweeping views of Rome from Monte Mario, one of the city’s highest hills. On Good Friday you will have a 3-hour walking tour of the city and in the evening you will have a chance to join the Via Crucis Easter celebration.

APRIL 18TH – EASTER ON THE CAMINO INGLES – FERROL TO SANTIAGO
On this 7-night Camino Ingles guided tour, the group will follow this ancient path from the port city of Ferrol, as pilgrims have done for centuries.
This guided tour includes two nights in Ferrol before you start your journey to Santiago. Holy Thursday (Xoves Santo or Jueves Santo) and Good Friday (Holy Friday, Venres Santo or Viernes Santo) mark the highlights of Easter Week in Ferrol, when the most important processions are on display, such as the meeting of Jesus with Mary before the Crucifixion on Good Friday (Santo Encontro, Holy Meeting).
