Eat, Drink, and Be Merry in Moab!

Some myths still survive the odd alcohol laws once set in Utah not any longer since  hosting  the Winter Olympics 2002 much has changed!  Enjoy Moab’s fine brewed beers, Utah crafted beer, and amazing local wines. Here is our Merry Moab listing of fun and spirits available to visitors in Moab Utah.

Blu Pig a BBQ and Blues Joint with an IPL on tap made special for The Blu Pig. Find the Blu Pig is also serving cocktails, offering live music with the largest selection of whiskey, tequila and beer in Moab.

Broken Oar proudly serves wines from Moab’s Castle Creek Winery in addition to vintages from California, Australia and New Zealand. Craft Drafts include the Broken Oar Lager. Get a sampler of three draft 6 oz. servings. Beer by the bottle includes selections of full strength 6.50 brews from Squatters and Wasatch, two Utah breweries.

Canyonlands by Night packages a boat experience with dinner. Dinner could be a stand alone experience too. A nice vacation twist would be to add this special opportunity to a dinner choice in Moab. Choose one of two possibilities. Boat & unWine’d & Dine includes two drinks during the boat portion with western entertainment playing on the boat too. Or package dinner with the Sound & Light Show. You can add adult beverages at the bar during the Dutch Oven dinner at Canyonlands By Night.

Red Cliffs Lodge Cowboy Grill services beer and non-alcoholic beers by the bottle and wine and champagne by the glass.

Desert Bistro dug & built a wine cellar to store wine at 60 degrees. This space is also available for an adult dining experience of a small party of six. Besides MANY bottles of wine, the Bistro serves beer and distilled spirits too.

Eddie Mcstiff’s has 12 brews on tap, a few are organic. Besides Squatters, Unita, Wsaatch and Red Rock brews of Utah, other delicious beers are found on the drink menu. By the bottle, get 5.6% – 10.4% strength beers. There are a wide variety of liquors, with martini and margarita specialties. Wines are available by the glass or ½ liter. Plus, McStiff’s does Stiffies – the strongest drinks Utah has to offer, like mojitos, mai tai, long island ice tea, well, stop by to find out more, plan to walk back to your accommodations.

Jeffrey’s Steakhouse has a wine closet in the Ghost Upstairs Lounge with a spectrum of elegant reds, chardonnay and other interesting whites, local wines are represented from Castle Creek and Spanish Valley wineries too. By the glass, by the bottle.

Miguel’s Baja Grill for Margaritas, tequila shots, bottled beer, including the 32 oz Corona Familiar (limit 1 per person). Serves wine by the glass or bottle. Besides Corona, there are Dos Equis, Tecate, Negra Modelo, Pacifico and Bohemia Cervezas from Mexico.

Moab Brewery is a restaurant and packaging agency. Beers are available on tap, by the bottle or in a can. Take home a beer on tap in a growler. Find beers in bottles or cans in the store. These brews have received medals over the years. The two prestigious awards were a Silver at World Beer Cup for Squeaky Bike Nut Brown and Bronze at the Great American Beer Festival for the Rocket Bike in the American-Style Lager category. All selections are brewed on the premises of Moab Brewery. The Brewery has a retail section of hats, glassware, bottle openers and t-shirts and more.

Moab Burger and Atomic Lounge features locally made wines, micro-brews on tap or in the bottle, with emphasis on the cocktail. Utilizing fresh squeezed juices, in house made syrups, locally made bitters, house trained bartenders serve up classics or try on of the Atomic themed cocktail creations.

Moab Grill serving wine by the glass or the bottle, Moab’s own Castle Creek Wines and others. Utah brews from Squatters, Uinta and Wasatch, domestic and imported beer, or champagne by the bottle are also available.

Pasta Jay’s has premium wines, spirits, and a variety of domestic, imported and microbrewed beers. On the menu, it reads: Jay’s Famous Margarita. Gotta try that. And new for 2016, buy a jar of marinara sauce to take home.

Peace Tree Juice Bar has Margaritas, Martinis, Mojitos and more spirits. Beer: local Moab Brewery Scorpion Pale Ale and Over the Top Hefeweizen in cans, other flavors in bottles and on draft. Peace Tree is selling sparkling Brut by the glass or the bottle and white wine from Idaho, California and Moab. Red wines from California, Argentina, Moab, and Chile.

Sabuku Sushi has cocktails of Black Rum, Makers Mark Bourbon, Skyy Vodka, and Beefeater Gin.  Sabuku is also serving a Glueten Free beer amongst a host of Asian flavors. Sake of course! Plum wine, reds and whites from California are for sale by the glass or the bottle. Then there is also Pomo Cava Sparkling wine or Zipan Sparkling Sake both by the bottle (only).

Sunset Grill has adult beverages of liquors, wines and Utah Micro Beers from Epic Brewing Company, Squatters, Uinta, Wasatch and Moab Brewery’s Squeaky Bike Nut Brown Ale. Several of the delectable spirits hale from a Utah distillery as in vodka and rye from Ogden’s Five Wives Distillery and Park City’s High West Distillery.

Susie’s Branding Iron has Budweiser and Shock Top draft beer and many others by the bottle.

The River Grill has domestic and international wines, cold beer and creatively mixed drinks in the Epic Bar at Sorrel River Ranch.

The Spoke on Center http://www.thespokemoab.com/our-menu/drink-menu/ has specialties like a bacon bloody mary, Moab Mule with wild turkey lime juice and ginger beer. There is a short wine list, 15 beers on draft, including a Nitro Polygamy Porter. Nitrogen makes smaller bubbles and a smooth, creamy texture. There are 9 bottled flavors of beer.

Trail Bar at Twisted Sistas Café has specialty cocktails that can be served with food. Tall and Tasty? The Colorado River Rum Runner is tropically delightful. Margaritas, Cosmos, Martinis are on the drink menu plus beer and wine. And Proudly serving Castle Creek Wines bottled in Moab.

Zax Restaurant and the Watering Hole Tavern, ask a team member about specialty drinks and expect a large selection of Utah Micro Brews.
