Eclectic Contemporary Flair within the Suites & Villas of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach

In the heart of Bali’s beloved Seminyak neighbourhood – an eclectic melting pot of culture, fashion, dining and lively entertainment – the design ethos of guest suites and villas within the talk-of-the-town new resort Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach brings together Bali’s ancient traditions with creativity and a vibrant sense of fun.

Located on the southern stretch of Seminyak’s Mesari Beach amongst 4.7 hectares of lush grounds, exotic plantings and vertical gardens, the Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is a clever fusion of enchanting Balinese design and fresh modernity. The artisanal craftsmanship and traditional architecture of the Seminyak region is seen in design touches throughout the resort, framed within a context of contemporary style that feels elegant yet playful – such as the signature geometric lines that decorate the resort and which are the creative interpretation of the traditional Balinese weaving textile Songket.

Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has 19 one- and two- bedroom villas designed for seclusion. They are set within the resort’s rendition of a traditional Balinese village or Banjar, and are inspired by the Balinese architectural concept and philosophy of Tri Mandala, where each area is divided according to its functionalities and spiritual meanings to repel adverse energy from outside and enhance the positive vibrations inside – creating a smart juxtaposition of contemporary design and ancient customs.

The villas are positioned under swaying palm trees within flourishing tropical walled gardens and offer a truly bespoke service. At the entrance of the 270-square-metre one-bedroom villas and 800-square-metre two-bedroom villas, intricately carved doors painted in royal colours welcome guests with a dramatic yet playful gateway – an architectural design concept known as Kori Agung by locals. The villas offer lavish amenities and a chic, contemporary take on Balinese design with private outdoor swimming pools with whirlpools, marble bathrooms with his and hers vanities and spa-inspired amenities by HARNN, polished wood flooring, open-air living/dining bales, and pantry rooms with separate entrance for guests’ 24-hour personal butler service.

The resort’s suites include Perada, Tirta and Sagar Suites, and all feature spacious living rooms, separate boudoirs, spa-inspired bathrooms with rain-showers and amenities by SAVA Spa, and private balconies with daybeds. The 96-square-metre Perada Suites are inspired by, and decorated with, the rich Balinese Perada fabric that is intricately woven using thin gold and silver threads. Tirta is Balinese for ‘water’ and these 107-square-metre suites are inspired by the nourishing and holistic experiences that revolve around water, such as enjoying a luxurious soak in the suite’s oversized outdoor bath. Taken from the old Sanskrit language, Sagar means ‘the ocean’, and these large
115-square-metre suites are the resort’s premier collection, fronting the beach with unparalleled
views of the Indian Ocean. An oversized outdoor bath offers an intimate spa experience perfect for honeymooners.
