Eclipse Travel, specialists in key adventure destinations such as Antarctica, the Arctic, Africa and Latin America, would like to invite an intimate group of Australian travel agents to Peru for a famil from Monday 31 October to Thursday 10 November 2016.
During the 11-day famil, several lucky agents will be whisked away to the rich history and ancient cultures in Peru. Participants will be flown from Sydney to Lima on 31 October, followed by an exclusive Lima tour and an evening flight from Lima to Arequipa the next day.
The team will then explore the colonial-era capital of Peru’s Arequipa Region through a city tour, venture into the brightly coloured Santa Catalina Monastery, and make their way to Cruz del Cóndor – the famous viewpoint to view the Colca Canyon and to spot the native Andean condors.
On day 5, the agents will fly to Cusco and spend an afternoon in the city to soak in the beauty of the Spanish colonial architecture, and step back into time in the Inca ruins nearby before heading off to Explora Sacred Valley for two nights to discover the natural and cultural wealth of the Sacred Valley and its fascinating Inca heritage.
Agents will catch a morning train to Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains on day 8 for a visit, followed by hotel site inspections in Aguas Calientes and Cusco on days 9 and 10. The group will travel back home from Lima afterwards and arrive in Sydney on 10 November.
Directors Matt McMillan and Tim Farquhar explain the purpose of the famil, “This is a great opportunity for our fellow Aussie agents to familiarise with the exceptional products Eclipse Travel has to offer, and we are very excited to share our inspiring Peru itineraries with some of the best agents in Australia.”
