Crossing the stunning salt flats of Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni into the moon-like landscape of Chile’s Atacama Desert are just some of the highlights of Eclipse Travel’s first Latin America & Antarctica brochure, now available for 2015 and 2016 bookings.

The Latin America & Antarctica brochure showcases bespoke itineraries and accommodation in luxury lodges, cloud forest reserves and boutique hotels for single travellers, small groups of two to 10 people, as well as special interest groups of up to 40.

From Mexico to Argentina, the tours cover the length and breadth of the continent with the most popular itineraries including a 22-day Patagonia & Antarctica Wilderness Adventure, a 14-day South America Essentials tour and an 18-day Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica trip.

The 22-day Patagonia & Antarctica Wilderness Adventure combines some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes and wildlife encounters, visiting both the Chilean and Argentinean sides of Patagonia, taking in the Torres del Paine National Park and the Perito Moreno glacier, before embarking on a small-ship expedition to Antarctica.

For a limited time only Eclipse Travel is offering $1,500 off the Patagonia & Antarctica Wilderness Adventure tour, with a special fare of $18,317 per person twin share including return flights from Sydney.

The South America Essentials trip – one of Eclipse Travel’s most popular itineraries – takes in the continent’s most iconic destinations on a two-week tour, allowing travellers to explore the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu, learn the tango in Buenos Aires, get drenched at Iguazu falls and soak up the atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro. Prices start from $6,999 per person twin share including return flights from Sydney.

The 18-day Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica trip meanwhile is considered to be the pinnacle of Antarctic cruising allowing travellers to see the thousands of King penguins at South Georgia, visit West and East Falklands and explore the Antarctic Peninsula by ship, zodiac or on foot. An 18/20-day cruise expedition onboard the 110-passenger Sea Explorer starts from $15,460 per person twin share and includes all meals and accommodation, one night’s pre-departure accommodation in Ushuaia or Buenos Aires, zodiac excursions and shore landings and specialist guides to lead the expedition.

The brochure also highlights a range of luxury and unique properties throughout Central and South America from Tierra Patagonia in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile to Lapa Rios Eco Lodge in Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, one of just 24 National Geographic unique eco lodges of the world. Travellers will also love the detailed map of the Galapagos Islands which highlights the specific wildlife spotting opportunities on each island.

Tim Farquhar, co-owner of Eclipse Travel, said: “We are excited to be able to offer such a wide ranging variety of tours in such amazing countries. We source the leading products in each location and provide travellers with the best options to create personalised travel experiences and exceptional customer service along the way.”

All prices include internal flights, accommodation, transfers, expedition cruises, meals as specified, entrance fees and English-speaking tour guides.
