Eleven years ago Egencia began to transform the business travel industry. With the backing of Expedia, Inc., Egencia has grown to be the fifth largest travel management company (TMC) in the industry, with one of the most advanced technology platforms and consumer-inspired mobile offerings for business travelers.

“I am thrilled to help Egencia accelerate the transformation of business travel. Increasingly clients want simple and personal solutions with comprehensive content and relevant functionality,” says Sophie Krishnan, Egencia’s vice president of global marketing and product. “They want an experience that is tailored to business travel with innovation from leisure travel which requires smart technology. Egencia has relentlessly invested in a remarkably strong technology platform, leveraging assets from Expedia, Inc. She earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from theLondon School of Economics and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
