The Seatrade Cruise Med 2016 takes place this year in Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Spain, introduces over 3000 attendees from around the world to the latest cruise models and most favorable destinations in the world.
The event lasts for a total of three days with activities commencing on September 21st and concluding on September 23rd with over 200 exhibitors confirmed to present their best products. Seatrade Cruise Med 2016 gives an honest, detailed look at the cruise industry and in particular – the cruise industry in the Mediterranean region.
Alexandria Port Authority proudly announces the first time participation of three of the most important Egyptian Ports in Cruise industry – Alexandria Port, Sharm el Sheikh Port and Suez Port, together with the cruise agencies companies Worms Alexandria Cargo Services, Inchcape Shipping Services, Rhapsody Group and KADMAR Shipping Co. and Egypt’s Official Tourism authority under the patronage and the coordination of the Egyptian Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism and the Maritime Transport Sector.
At a time when collaboration is so important, the three Egyptian ports conjunctively worked together with the representatives of the private sector, as well as with the ministerial authorities showing that they can rise to the challenge for everything this exhibition means.
The Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, Rear Admiral -Medhat Attia says: “It is truly a great honor to participate for the first time at this event of major importance which brings together key industry leaders from across the world. The Egyptian ports play an extremely important role in cruising in the Mediterranean Sea and its adjoining seas, as already demonstrated over time.”
The Egyptian representatives at Seatrade Cruise Med 2016 will provide a rich platform to discuss the major challenges, business opportunities and solutions for the cruise port industry in the Mediterranean Sea basin in order to reinvigorate the Egyptian tourism sector.
The Seatrade Cruise Med 2016 is the largest gathering of the cruise industry in the region, a meeting place for industry suppliers to engage with purchasers and decision makers from cruise lines active in the Mediterranean.
