El Questro’s Ultimate Day Out features full and half day program options and will run for one day only on May 17, 2020. The new El Questro adventure is part of the Ord Valley Muster festival which includes 30 music, food and cultural events from its hub in Kununurra over ten days May 15-24, 2020.

As part of the Ultimate Day Out, guests can take advantage of a special 15 per cent discount on accommodation when staying at El Questro over the period May 15-23, 2020.

The full day Ultimate Day Out includes an 8am pickup at Kununurra, transfer to Diggers Rest Station for a morning muster, morning tea and tour, followed by lunch at Emma Gorge. The afternoon includes an exclusive access visit to the thermal pools and waterfalls among the Pandanus palms at Zebedee Springs, a cruise along the magnificent Chamberlain Gorge and wraps up with sunset drinks and live entertainment at the Boab Tree with views to the Cockburn Ranges.

The half-day program is priced at $299 per person, and includes a mid-morning pickup from Kununurra, transfer to Emma Gorge for lunch, an exclusive group visit to Zebedee Springs during the afternoon, Chamberlain Gorge cruise and sunset drinks and entertainment. Guests on the half day experience can also transfer back to Kununurra or opt to stay at El Questro to explore more.

The 2020 Ord Valley Muster will be more accessible for travellers from Australia’s eastern states than ever, with Virgin’s ‘Kimberley Express’ direct flights between Melbourne and Kununurra launching on May 15 next year. Operated by Alliance Airlines, the new flight route will operate three days weekly and takes less than five hours each way, with fares from just $399* one-way flying in economy class.

El Questro Manager Lori Litwack said the Ultimate Day Out was a great way for travellers to experience the best of the Kimberley in a day – including the thrill of the outback muster.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Ord Valley Muster for the first time and hope to welcome visitors who regularly take part in the festival to discover El Questro as well as travellers from further afield – including Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane who can take advantage of the new direct flights for a fun and easy weekend away,” Ms Litwack said.

Resting at the heart of the Kimberley’s spectacular 700,000-acre wilderness, El Questro offers a range of accommodation options for every traveller from glamping and hotel-style facilities to the rarefied surroundings of an intimate luxury lodge. Opportunities for adventure abound, with guided walks, fishing and helicopter tours all on offer for exploring the gorges, rivers and ranges of Western’s Australia’s most thrilling inland destination.
