The Whiskey House has now officially landed at DFS, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Starting today, discerning travelers are invited to come along on a journey of taste and prestige before they even step onto an airplane. With hundreds of premium whiskeys from dozens of brands around the globe, plus exclusive shopping rewards and refined whiskey experiences, The Whiskey House at DFS is the destination for Hong Kong International Airport guests to relax and rejuvenate their palates prior to takeoff.

An exclusive concept created by DFS in partnership with William Grant & Sons, The Whiskey House showcases an impressive, carefully curated selection of premium whiskeys and whiskey brands from around the world. There are over 250 distinct whiskeys to explore, from 50 of the finest international brands. Visitors are invited to experience The Whiskey House’s expansive collection first hand, with complimentary samplings of the more than 40 whiskeys available for tasting daily.

So much more than just a store, The Whiskey House is an intuitive and experiential destination, where guests are encouraged to join the regular calendar of events and opportunities. These include blind tasting sessions led by passionate and experienced brand ambassadors, introducing travelers to flavors from around the world. Guests can meet the whiskey experts and join their exclusive tasting sessions every weekend from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at The Whiskey House – a delightful way to wind-down and indulge before takeoff.

Visitors to The Whiskey House will also benefit from DFS’ highly trained staff, who undergo extensive education in the world of whiskey from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust as well The Whisky Ambassador, the UK’s only accredited training course focused solely on whisky that provides staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to engage customers with Scotch whisky.

Ten new whiskeys were launched exclusively with DFS in November alone, with more first-arrival bottles landing on shelves this year.
