This autumn, Chef Roger introduces chocolate gems to delight your palate! Newly launched in Hong Kong, the Ruby chocolate is the brand new category after the dark, white and milk chocolate, which is known for its exquisite non-artificial pink colour and its unique berry flavour. Named as Ruby for its unusualness, the pink chocolate is rare as each cocoa contains limited pink cocoa beans. Diners can now savour this distinctive chocolate with our highlight of this season’s sweet delicacies Ruby Milles Feuilles! This extraordinary morsel will elevate your dessert journey with delectable vanilla custard inside the caramelized puff pastry with a touch of the “berrylicious” Ruby chocolate flavour.

In addition to the Ruby chocolate pastry, Roger also showcases his intriguing creativity by crafting a series of mouthwatering autumn-themed desserts. The blazed reddish-tan leaf floats on the enticing Pine Nut Chocolate, which is composed of 40% Ghana milk chocolate and pine nut praline, offering you an autumnal chocolate sensation. Autumn is always the best harvesting season of apples. Discover the indigenous Baked Apple Tart with rum raisins and cinnamon-flavoured apple filling. By adding Oatmeal to the crumble toppings, it plays the magic in enriching the apple tart’s texture, bringing you a sublime pleasure with rich layers. Matcha Profiteroles with smooth matcha and raspberry creamux stuffed inside the crispy green tea puff are surely a green tea lovers’ favourite. The delightful Lemon Bonbon continues the sweet journey with lemon confit and milk chocolate ganache. The perfect balance between the sweetness of the milk chocolate and the acidity of the lemon confit delivers a wonderful flavour you couldn’t resist! Last but not least, don’t forget to savour the classic and popular Renaissance Cheesecake to pamper your palate with its rich cheese flavour.

Apart from the palatable sweet treats, Chef Owen has decadently created a variety of seductive savoury delights to whet your appetite. Pan-Fried Scallop is paired with airy pumpkin foam and crispy candied hazelnuts, with multiple textures to surprise your palate. Enjoy the cute Duck Liver Pâté Puffwith sweet and sour cherry and onion marmalade, which harmonizes the heaviness of duck liver pâté inside sesame profiterole. The intriguing Smoked Salmon “Maki” is a twisted version of the traditional Japanese sushi. Wrapped with crispy Nori, the Maki sushi is filled with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Try the simply delicious Truffle and Ham Toastie with Serrano ham, mozzarella cheese and truffle to satisfy your crave for rich and crunchy toasted sandwiches.

Autumnal Afternoon Tea is available from now till 30 November 2018, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. It is priced at HK$ 188 per person on Monday to Friday and HK$ 208 per person on weekends and public holidays.
