Emirates will be holding a pilot roadshow in Sydney and Melbourne next month to recruit experienced and technically proficient commercial pilots to fly its growing network of international routes and join a world class team.

The roadshow will be a great opportunity for interested pilots to learn more about the recruitment process, and talk to Emirates’ staff about the benefits of being an Emirates pilot, living and working in Dubai.

Emirates, which was named the World’s Best Airline at the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice® Awards for Airlines, is looking for eager and avid pilots, and will be holding pilot recruitment roadshow events on Thursday 2 November and Friday 3 November in Melbourne and Saturday 4 November, and Sunday 5 November in Sydney.

Roadshow details

Interested pilots can participate in the following roadshows:

Location:              Pullman Melbourne on the Park*

Dates:                   Thursday 2 November, 10am and 2pm

Friday 3 November, 10am

Location:              Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport**

Dates:                   Saturday 4 November, 10am and 2pm

Emirates will also be holding pilot pre selection programmes in early December in Melbourne. These events will be open for pilots by invitation only and will include SIM assessments as well as Advanced COMPASS testing sessions.

In addition to passenger aircraft, Emirates now offers pilots the option to join the airline’s dedicated Boeing 777 freighter pilot team. The freighter pilot contract offers a unique opportunity for pilots with a new 28 days on, 13 days off roster pattern.

Being an Emirates pilot

Being an Emirates pilot offers an excellent opportunity to fly with a fast-growing, award-winning airline. Emirates pilots enjoy a competitive tax free salary, medical and dental insurance, annual leave and company accommodation, whilst living in one of the world’s leading cultural and business hubs – Dubai.

Emirates also operates one of the largest fleets in the industry with 260 passenger aircraft, all of which are either Airbus A380 or Boeing 777 aircraft. With more than 200 aircraft on order, Emirates will continue to increase its fleet size and extend its network, which already stands at over 155 destinations in 84 countries and six continents.

With over 2,500 channels on Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system ice, there’s something to keep the whole family entertained. All passengers can enjoy 20MB complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, gourmet food and wine and generous baggage allowances.

Emirates is set to launch a fourth daily Dubai to Sydney service from 25 March 2018, operated by its iconic A380 aircraft. The airline will also launch a third daily service between Dubai and Brisbane on 1 December 2017, operated by a B777-200LR and upgauge its third daily Melbourne service to an A380 from 25 March 2018.
