Today, Emirates Leisure Retail Australia (ELRA) is celebrating the opening of two highly anticipated venues that will transform dining in the newly renovated T1 International terminal in Sydney Airport. The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck and Heineken House, both firsts for Australia, officially opened their doors in new premium dining precinct, City View.

Internationally-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck’s eponymous eatery, The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck, and Australia’s first flagship Heineken venue, Heineken House, will encourage Sydney Airport travellers to get to the airport a little earlier to enjoy premium dining and drinking experiences. The neighbouring outlets aim to transform traveller’s airport experiences by offering the opportunity to relax and enjoy great value quality food and drink, while taking in the impressive view of the airfield and planes taking off across the city skyline.

ELRA is also set to further broaden the premium dining options at Australia’s busiest airport later this year with the opening of a third outlet, the much-loved Kitchen by Mike from one of Sydney’s acclaimed chefs, Mike McEnearney.

Adam Summerville, Managing Director of Emirates Leisure Retail Australia, said – “ELRA is excited to expand our strong relationship with Sydney Airport by showcasing world renowned offerings, The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck and Heineken House to hundreds of thousands of travellers, enhancing their airport experience.

“These remarkable new offerings further signify ELRA’s commitment to creating the world’s best dining experiences for Sydney travellers, giving them the opportunity to relax and enjoy the precinct’s exciting new food offerings, while taking in the impressive view of the airfield and the city skyline.”

Travellers at Sydney Airport will enjoy Puck’s take on made-from-scratch comfort fare, in a casual and relaxed environment over two levels. The Bistro’s menus showcase quality, local ingredients, inventive techniques, and global flavours, and are approachable for all diners.

Complementing The Bistro, the flagship Heineken House is the perfect place for travellers to relax and enjoy a premium international beer before they depart Sydney Airport. Heineken House will feature Heineken’s latest global innovations including Heineken served Extra Cold, the brand’s coldest beer yet. Designed by award-winning Australian architect Mike McCann of Dreamtime Australia Design, the Heineken bar features a signature Heineken® eight metre-high bottle wall towering over the bar as its key centrepiece.

The relationship between the neighbouring The Bistro and Heineken House will offer diners and drinkers flexible experiences, with The Bistro offering a refreshing mix of Heineken product, while Heineken House customers will be able to enjoy a delicious snack menu by the Bistro.
