Emirates Pilot Roadshows to arrive in Australia

Emirates will be holding Pilot Roadshows across Australia this April, to meet and recruit experienced commercial pilots who want to join its world class flight team and operate its state of the art fleet of Airbus A830 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

The roadshows will be held in early April in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, and are an opportunity for experienced and technically proficient pilots to gain insights into the Emirates pilot recruitment process as well as the benefits of being an Emirates pilot. Attendees will be able to interact with the recruitment team from Emirates and learn more about working and living in Dubai.

Emirates is the world’s largest international airline and currently has more than 1,490 Australians as part of its global team, of which over 300 are pilots. The airline offers a world of opportunities, including attractive employment packages with competitive tax-free salaries, generous travel benefits, career security, medical and dental insurance, and excellent professional development opportunities.

For pilots based in Western Australia, the roadshow will be held at the Duxton Hotel in Perth on Wednesday 5 April at 10am and 2pm and Thursday 6 April at 10am.

Queensland based pilots will be able to attend the roadshow at the Hilton Brisbane in Brisbane on Saturday 8 April at 10am and 2pm and on Sunday 9 April at 10am.

For pilots in New South Wales, the roadshow will be held at the Sydney Airport Pullman in Sydney on Monday 10 April at 10am and 2pm and Tuesday 11 April at 10am.

Prior registration is not required to attend the roadshow events and pilots can attend any one of the three information sessions in each city. Pilots who are unable to attend the events but interested in applying to Emirates can make an online application at

Emirates operates one of the largest and youngest fleets in the industry with 256 aircraft, all of which are either Airbus A380 or Boeing 777 aircraft. The average age of the Emirates fleet is 74 months compared with the industry average of 140 months.

With more than 200 new aircraft currently on order, Emirates will continue to increase its fleet size and extend its network, which already reaches over 150 destinations in more than 80 countries and territories. As part of this global network, Emirates operates 77 flights a week to Australia, servicing Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
