With a customer satisfaction rating of 86%, Emirates was followed by Singapore Airlines (85%) and Qatar Airways and Air New Zealand (84%). Australian carriers Qantas and Virgin Australia placed sixth and seventh respectively.

This marks the fourth time this year that Emirates has taken out the award, putting the airline in a position to be named as overall winner for 2019.

These ratings have been sourced through in-depth face-to-face interviews with more than 50,000 Australians, conducted by the country’s leading Consumer, Industry and Market Research company, Roy Morgan.

In addition, the research revealed that the typical Australian Emirates passenger is female, aged between 50-64, and tend to be professionals, managers and white-collar workers.

Australian Emirates passengers are also more likely to attend cultural events such as the ballet, opera or a classical, jazz or blues concert.

Already offering flights to more than 150 destinations, Emirates is committed to growing their global route network, recently adding Porto, Portugal to their service.
