Your romantic odyssey commences in Barcelona on 24 May 2020 with 2 nights at the Grand Hotel Central. Located near the Gothic Quarter in the city’s bustling centre, the hotel’s imposing 1920s façade masks a warm and stylish modern oasis where visitors can simply relax and absorb spectacular views from the eighth-storey roof terrace, or immerse themselves in all the urban action right outside the hotel’s front door, making it the perfect base from which to explore one of Europe’s great cities.

On 26 May, farewell Barcelona for the sublime comfort of Azamara Quest. A veritable boutique hotel at sea. The ship offers everything well-travelled modern voyagers could ask for, from elegant, tastefully appointed suites and staterooms to a range of superb dining options that are sure to tempt every tastebud, plus relaxing and refreshing treatments at Sanctum Spa and a quality program of engaging entertainment, all guaranteed to deliver an unparalleled indulgent cruising experience.

Circumnavigating the Iberian Peninsula, the voyage takes in the iconic Rock of Gibraltar, a natural fortress overlooking the mouth of the Mediterranean; Portugal’s Portimão with its stunning Praia Grande Beach, or where thrill-seekers can also enjoy a spin behind the wheel of an F1 car at the Autodromo Algarve Racing School; and Lisbon, one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful cities, rich in architecture and criss-crossed by monument-studded grand boulevards. Wine-lovers will also appreciate a stop at Porto at the mouth of the Rio Douro, famous for its port wine trade, where you can explore some of the region’s renowned port lodges in nearby Vila Nova de Gaia.

Next stop is Spain’s Bilbao, the Basque country’s self-proclaimed capital and home to the ultra-modern Guggenheim Museum, followed by a visit to Bordeaux in France. Here, you’ll spend the next 3 days exploring one of the country’s premier wine producing regions, the spiritual heart of the French wine industry, taking in great estates including Pauillac, Sauternes, Margaux, and Saint-Emilion, with plenty of opportunities to sample a glass or two of Bordeaux’s finest en route.

Last stop is Guernsey in the English Channel with its unique mix of French and British culture, colourful, postcard-worthy cottages and scenic cliffside paths fanning out from the quaint township of St Peter Port, before you disembark at Southampton in England on 8 June 2020.

Your journey concludes with 2 nights at The May Fair in London. Once the residence of the Earl of Chesterfield, the storied mansion exudes aristocratic charm from top to bottom, not to mention sumptuous interiors and first-class service. Located in the heart of Mayfair, within walking distance of the Royal Parks and some of the city’s most prestigious shopping, it is the ideal spot from which to immerse yourself in one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, before flying home on 10 June 2020.
