Galley Café & Dining at historic landmark 1881 Heritage in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui is celebrating Easter with family-style afternoon tea of handmade treats and tasty savories on its delightful outdoor terrace between 2pm and 5.45pmfrom April 18-21 priced HK$358.
The Easter Weekend Family Tea Set
features a smorgasbord of delicacies to savor over a leisurely respite in the quiet oasis nestled between Salisbury Road and Canton Road, from scones with berry jam and brownies to chocolate and Dulce De Leche mousse, lemon curd and mozzarella cheese tart topped with cranberry marmalade.Easter Weekend Family Tea Set

Traditional festive treats include mini chocolate Easter Eggs, orange and lemon sugar Bunny Cookies, carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and vanilla mousse ice cream cones.

Completing the afternoon tea is a savory selection of smoked salmon and caviar roll, mini chicken & beef burger, cheese and onion tart, Portobello tart and deep-fried brie cheese.

The set is served with tea or coffee, which can be switched for a bottle of beer or glass of sparkling prosecco for an additional HK$35/58.

Easter Weekend Special Family DessertAlternatively, an Easter Weekend Special Family Dessert is also served, priced at just HK$68, with a choice of waffles – with either mixed berry sauce and vanilla ice cream or banana, walnuts and Dulce De Leche topped with vanilla ice cream – or crepes filled withDulce De LecheorNutella topped with strawberry, chocolate or vanilla ice cream.

Amid pleasant gardens in the peaceful backwater of bustling Tsim Sha Tsui, Galley Café & Dining is a unique twist on old and new, blending past and present at Hong Kong’s former Marine Police Headquarters dating back to the 1880s – now restored to its former glory in a complex that also includes a heritage hotel, shopping mall and exhibition hall displaying nostalgic photos and memorabilia.

Reflecting its colonial setting, the restaurant features a cosmopolitan east-meets-west menu with unnamed (6)traditional afternoon tea of artisan pastries and exquisite desserts a specialty, handmade by Argentinian Pastry Chef Victoria Sar.

Classic Italian cuisine is also a specialty, including freshly baked handmade pizzas, as well as fresh seafood platters of succulent oysters, king prawns, hotate scallops and Boston lobsters.
