Guests of Millennium Resort Mussanah, the award-winning upscale beachfront property in Oman and a leading destination for relaxation and recreation, can expect a smooth internet experience during their stay due to the installation of a new access point, ensuring 100% Wi-Fi coverage across the hotel premises.
The hotel has recently upgraded its Wi-Fi technology using the powerful new 802.11ac Access Points (APs) from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprises company, providing a seamless connection in guest rooms, corridors, restaurants, guest public areas and outdoor sections of the hotel.
Guests previously faced issues of Wi-Fi connection dropping while moving around the property and transitioning from one AP to another but with the new Wi-Fi infrastructure in place, they can enjoy seamless roaming due to Aruba’s ClientMatch technology.

Wi-Fi is the number one amenity for these guests so our wireless network must be capable of providing the demand. The implementation has resulted in excellent wireless coverage across the expansive 300 hectare property and a significant reduction in help desk calls pertaining to Wi-Fi connectivity issues.”
Whether it’s a vacation or stay-cation, the enhanced Wi-Fi experience allows guests to easily connect with their families, download larger files, upload all of their daily holiday photos to their social media network, stream more music or get any work done on their trip.

Aruba’s wireless infrastructure will enable Millennium Resort Mussanah to implement many innovations such as the introduction of smart device control of room facilities including temperature settings, secure Wi-Fi Point of Sales (POS) systems and wireless hotel telephones including the guest bathrooms for convenient and cost-free communications within the Hotel premises.
The new technology has increased the security of connections over Wi-Fi, a critical element for business travellers. Advanced security features enable customizable network configurations based on the requirements of meetings and events. The high-density Wi-Fi system is capable of providing groups of more than 500 attendees with strong, fast and reliable internet services.
