Eurail, the flexible rail pass that simplifies rail travel throughout 28 European countries, has announced Example will manage its trade relationships, marketing and public relations activity in the Australian market.http://www.itb-asia.com/press/media-services/accreditation/ This is the first time the popular travel brand has sought Australian representation and is a direct result of Australia recently becoming Eurail’s second largest source market.

Example, a Sydney-based travel and hospitality specialist agency, will work closely with Eurail’s GSA partners to increase brand awareness and product knowledge with travel agents, while also working with the broader travel industry to increase consumer interest surrounding European travel, and enhance the appeal of the convenient, fun and easy-to-use Eurail Pass.

“Australia is a very important market for Eurail, and we are thrilled to be increasing our focus on supporting the Australian travel trade to increase sales of Eurail Passes through the appointment of Example as our on-the-ground representative”, says Clarissa Mattos, Eurail Market Manager.

“Of the 1.7 million Australian’s who travel to Europe each year, over 40,000 are using Eurail as a onepass access to over 10,000 destinations, and we hope to see that figure grow over the coming years.”

Cavallaro, who will be the sales and marketing face for Eurail in Australia, will be working with Eurail general Sales Agents and travel trade in the coming months to launch a number of new initiatives and exciting product developments. Airlines and European tourism boards, as well as media and content creators, will shortly be invited to collaborate on joint initiatives, all designed to increase the appeal of Europe, and encourage Australians to explore the diversity of its many countries, cities and landscapes by rail.

Example has now commenced work with Eurail with exciting announcements to follow in the coming months, starting with the news that the current price-drop on Eurail Global Passes (with savings of up to 37%) will continue until 17 September 2018.
