The European Association for the Study of Diabetes e.V. (EASD) will be staging its 56th Annual Meeting at Reed Messe Wien from 21-25 September 2020. 
Around 15,000 participants from some 130 countries are expected to attend the event, which is the world’s largest diabetes research and treatment congress.
The EASD Annual Congress scientific program features 1,200 talks and presentations covering the latest advances in diabetes research and treatment. The latest outcomes from fundamental research and medical practice are shared and discussed in symposiums, lectures, debates and poster presentations. With multiple focuses playing out in parallel, the program offers researchers and doctors a full-range of training and continuing education opportunities. Supporting young researchers and doctors is a special priority.
2020 will be the fifth time that the Austrian capital hosts the EASD Annual Meeting, and the Vienna Convention Bureau at the Vienna Tourist Board will be in attendance with a range of services.
