Evason Hua Hin Launches Blue Lotus

Evason Hua Hin in Thailand has targeted a new sector of holiday makers by opening a plant-based learning facility at which hotel guests can join four-hour cooking workshops as part of a week long course.

Known as Blue Lotus, the centre commences its courses in June and opens up possibilities for guest chefs’ visits, customised workshops for corporate events and offering two levels of training – Pure & Simple and Pure & Advanced.

The first offers an introduction to casual, simple and healthy plant-based cuisine created around the learning centre’s four culinary themes -Southeast Asian, Mediterranean, Desserts and Raw Energy for active people.

The latter includes advanced classes with more advanced techniques, recipes and mentoring for experienced chefs and students who have completed the Pure & Simple classes.

According to Evason Hua Hin managing director Alan Thomas, The facility is unique in that it offers a campus environment within a resort at a time when there is a growing interest in a plan-based lifestyle while giving the students access to world-class learning facilities.
