Sanur Auto Festival

The 4th Sanur Auto Festival held the Classic Cars Exhibition with viewer selection, Classic and custom Big Bikes contest, American and non American category. Vehicle modification under 250 CC (classic, choppy cub, tracker, chopper, retro custom) contest was followed by a Tattoo Show Contest (color, black and grey – extreme).

Sanur Auto Festival was held on Sunday 15 September 2013 at Mertasari Beach Sanur, live music, sexy dancer performances and various fun games. Fans of classic cars and custom cars enjoyed this automotive event. This Sanur Auto Festival has historical meaning because it involves three communities in Sanur i.e. Sanur Surfing Club, Sanur Tattoo Community and Sanur Riders.

Press Conference

Press Conference about Sanur Village Festival (SVF) activities was held on Friday, 20 September 2013 starting from 9AM-12 noon. The entire agenda, objective and purpose was elaborated by SVF committee and chairman of Yayasan Pembangunan Sanur (YPS) at the beautiful Grya Menuh, where journalist were invited to interact amidst traditional Balinese setting and architecture.

Sanur 10 K

This 10K run takes route through rural areas showcasing Sanur’s art, culture and tourism. Sanur 10K, a new event during SVF, intends to give another impressive experience to the participants. Aside from attracting new athletes and introduce Sanur and all its rural activities. Sanur 10K is open to the public, expats, as well as domestic and international visitors.

ICA cooking demoSanur Surfing Contest

The surfing contest with beginner and Pro Junior categories is held at Sanur beach. This event aims to seek potential young surfers and introduce new surfing spots in Sanur. Come and join us at Sanur beach next to Hyatt Hotel to see the young surfers conquer the waves.

Village Cycling Tour 24-28 Sept

Cycle while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Sanur beach, visit culinary spots, preservation areas and Balinese traditional housing, viewing the daily tradition activities in Sanur and other tourism spots, guided by a committee member. Scheduled daily in the morning from 10AM to 1PM and noon from 1 to 4PM.

Sanur Creative Expo 24-28 Sept

Sanur creative Expo 2013 is an exhibition of creative products from Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) all over Indonesia, as well as state and private state owned enterprises (SOEs), banking and Bali’s creative industry. This efficient and effective exhibition will be a showcase for creative industry players especially artisans to promote and exchange information, improve and develop their quality and creativity. The public, as well as domestic and international tourists can visit and benefit from this exhibition.

The fruit and vegetable carving course will be open to the Sanur community during the festival. This activity aims to improve fruit and vegetable decoration and carving skills.

Wednesday, 25 September

A number of national chef and celebrities that perform on national TV will participate in SVF culinary challenge. These celebrity chefs can meet directly with their culinary fans in Bali. Chef Juna, Kelana, and Hendry Bloem together with 20 chefs in Bali, joined as Indonesian Chefs Association (ICA) will perform together to demonstrate their latest recipe.

Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel will have a Dim Sum and Western dish cooking demo. This demo aims to introduce Dim Sum as a “fast food”. Western food demo will show the skill of Balinese chefs in preparing high quality food and interact with their culinary fans.

Friday, 27 September 2013

Sanur’s PKK ladies group will have a traditional snack cooking competition, where they will demonstrate the ingredient, preparation up to the processing. These delicious snacks can be enjoyed by the public during the cooking competition.

Saturday, 28 September 2013

ICA Bali Chapter will have a “Nasi Bebali” cooking competition followed by teenagers in STT and Karang Taruna groups. The “Nasi Bebali” has participants create a unique food and beverages unique from Sanur.

Opening of the 8th annual SVF

Consisting of Segara giri performance, created by Dance Group Sendra Tari Br. Taman Sanur and festival opening by Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. Music, cultural show and Food bazaar will add to festivities during the SVF 2013 event opening.

Consisting of performances from the Legong Intaran Sanur, Ayu Laksmi and Svara Semesta featuring Dwiki Dharmawan on stage, followed by India, Ocha and Universe performance also Rasta Kids.

Consisting of performances from Sanur Junior Session, Sundown Jazz, Underground Jazz Movement, ethnic music of Culture Department from Kota Denpasar, Silat Bakti Negara, Sendra Tari Batu Jimbar “Karma Ludra Uma Durga”. Emoni, KITA Art, Balawan “In Rock Jamz” and Small Axe Reggae.

Consisting of performances from Sundown Jazz – Eric Sondi, Exotica Dayak, Keroncong Penggak men Mercy, Baleganjur Br. Penopengan, Gong Kebyar Santrian, Gus Teja Fushion, Dewa Bujana & Quinted, Ida & The Bingo Reggae Band.

Consisting of performances from Sekolah Musik Farabi, Semerandana n the North, Yoga Art performance, Sendra Tari Sumpah Palapa, Tropical Transit feat Trie Utami, Artis Nasional, Tude and Friends.

Saturday, 28 September

Consisting of performances from Sendra Tari created by Wayan Sidia, Jim Larkin, Shooting Stars Modern Dance, Joni Agung & Double T, Jamz Rock with Crazy Horse.

Fashion Show SVF 2013

The beautiful movements by models on the cat walk will entertain SVF visitors. Starting with a parade and show body painting on the cat walk on 26 September at 6PM, followed by fashion show by Shinta Chrisna at 7.45PM, Anak-anak Laron Dedari on 27 September 2013 at 5PM, Paras Ayu at 8.30PM. While Dinda Rella fashion show will be held on 28 September 2013 at 6.30PM.

Bali Bersih

“Gerakan Destinasi Wisata Berseri” theme for the annual clean the environment activity has been a routine agenda of SVF held by Bali Bersih program, covering clean the beach, planting trees, turtle release, coral conservation and cleaning garbage educational activity events.


Enjoying the festival with healthy mind and body and through yoga, Pasemetonan Yoga Asanas Seger Oger will show yoga program daily through-out the festival, starting from at 5PM. Visitors are invited to these training sessions. Pasemetonan yoga asana Seger Oger will also showcase performing art yoga depicting the Segara Giri theme on 27 September 2013.

Sanur Green

A Green Booth will provide information about Sanur Green and Sanur Lestari program activities during SVF, offering a playground, Coral Plantation program, Beach Clean up, turtle release, planting trees and environmental education. Join us in maintaining a clean and green world.

Jukung Competition

Sanur’s beautiful beaches will be decorated with colorful traditional boat, Jukungs. Jukung boat which is usually used for fishing and tourism vehicle, will compete during SVF in riding waves and skills in maneuvering the wind, located at Segara Ayu beach.

Golf Tournament 27 – 28 September

The annual SVF golf tournament will be held at Lapangan Sektor Golf Ina Grand Bali Beach. Junior and pro golfers will compete for a prestige and interesting prizes. Enjoying the Sanur Village Festival while swinging the golf stick will surely be a main attraction for golfers.

Fishing Tournament

SVF Fishing tournament is a routine program that attracts fishing fans. Two classes of fishing, Jigging and Popping for certain species will open to the public. The tournament promises a total prize of Rp. 65 million and other prizes held at Segara Ayu beach.


Fine art for public will be showcased displaying “on the spot” painting and body painting. This activity is unique because painters will perform sketch and drawing on visitors and models live. Everyone is welcome to join and interact with the artists. This activity will take place on 26 and 28 September at main venue of SVF.

Body Painting, which is painting on models flesh, will be held around the SVF main event. Using paint and brush, the artists use the models as living canvas with arts depicting Segara Giri theme. Their colorful bodies will be exhibited on the cat walk stage as pieces of art, at the main venue of SVF on 26 September 2013 from 5PM.

KOI Fiesta 2013

The Asosiasi Pecinta Koi Indonesia (APKI) together with Dinas Peternakan, Perikanan and Kelautan Kota Denpasar also Sanur Village Festival will hold the Bali Koi Fiesta, the first and largest exhibition in Bali. This exhibition and bazaar combines hobby and business from 24-28 September 2013, while the one day contest will be on 28 September 2013. Visit the main venue of SVF for information on Koi species and how to maintain it.

Cultural Dialog

The Cultural Dialog will be held on 25 September 2013 conceptualizing Segara Giri theme into cultural and art, science and current context dimensions, focusing on Sanur and Bali in a global development perspective. Four speakers will attend the dialogue i.e. Drs. Ida Bagus Agastia (Expert in Balinese Literature, teacher at `FS Udayana University), Dr. Ida Bagus Darmika, MA (Rektor Unhi Denpasar), Drs. I Gede Ardika (Former Minster for Tourism and Culture), Dr. Jean Couteau (French Culture Expert living in Bali). The dialogue will be held at Hotel Sudamala, (across Hotel Sanur Beach Hotel) Jl. Sudamala Sanur starting from 4PM.

Photography exhibition 22 September – 10 October

Photography exhibition themed “Landscape Segara Giri” will be held at Grya Santrian Gallery Sanur inviting 34 photographers. These photographs have been selected and curated from 300 artworks, to be displayed to the public on 22 September starting from 7PM.

Paint ball 24 – 28 September

SVF arena ensure a lively atmosphere with fun shooting paint ball activity in a sporting and beach settings.

Chopper Village 24 – 28 September

Chopper village for automotive fans with its chopper style will display their creativity in modifying vehicles with an artistic touch and interesting design technology.

Fun Beach Game 26 – 27 September

Visitors can come together and enjoy various funny games, consisting of lari karung, lari terompah, nyuwun besek, gebuk bantal, and panjat pinang.

Saturday, 28 September

Cultural Parade

The cultural parade involves art and culture elements of Sanur village. The parade will go through Sanur area, comprising of performances, carnival design and music. Visitors can watch the sanur community parade their creativity rich in its art and cultural elements.
