EGT mediaTVWith Queensland Tourism and Event Minister Jann Stuckey having revealed this last week that a world-class line up of events will feature as part of a new Queensland calendar under the marketing banner – “It’s Live!

In Queensland”, I took the opportunity of the launch in Brisbane to meet up with and interview, not only Minister Stuckey, but also the Chair of Tourism and Events Queensland  Stephen Gregg and also the CEO of Tourism and Events Queensland, Leanne Coddington.

The 2104/2015 It’s Live! Calendar will features 126 events, expected to generate a $380 million dollar economic boost for Queensland, backed by a $3.8 million investment, the biggest events marketing campaign of its kind undertaken in Queensland on the basis that events play a vital role in attracting visitors and supporting the state’s $23 billion tourism industry , with events featured on the new Queensland calendar estimated to generate $380 million in spending to Queensland and more than 1.7 million visitor nights.”
